| Scorchfang smiled down at the she-kit, amused that she wasn't aware of what was yet to come. Wouldn't she be in for a pleasant surprise. "Dustkit, step forward." Waiting for her to do just that, he continued. "Dustkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Dustpaw. As for your mentor, he shall be me. Wildpaw is coming close to ending his training, so I shall take you under my wing and teach you everything there is to be a loyal ShadowClan cat." He leaped down from the highest point in camp and approached Dustkit, then touched his nose to hers.
