A sad thorn{closed for Kari}

Silentpaw nodded at Minnowpaw's reassurance. "Y-yeah, I've n-never actually seen anything bad happen here before, i-it's just a feeling I get when---" Silentpaw gasped in shock as she saw the other apprentice bolt out onto the Thunderpath "No! Rosepaw wait!" Her wail fell on deaf ears however as the roar of the oncoming monster swallowed the she-cat's voice. Silentpaw watched in helpless horror as the monster's terrifying, glowing gaze locked on Rosepaw. Then the sound... the sickening crunch of bone colliding against the monster's shiny pelt. And as soon as it had arrived the monster left, leaving a bleeding, broken Rosepaw behind on the thunderpath. "N-n-n-no!" She stuttered, launching forward and grabbing her friend by the scruff. She struggled desperately to pull Rosepaw's broken body from the wretched black ground she rested on, trying to drag her back to the safety of Shadowclan's territory. "R-Rosepaw no, y-you c-c-can't die! R-Rosep-paw! Minnowpaw h-help me!"

Minnowpaw froze for a moment Rosepaw was dead.. Once she heard Silentpaws cry and the sound of another monster she launched forward and grabbed Rosepaws limp body and quickly helped Silentpaw get Rosepaw back to their territory. When they got her over and the other monster passed them she started crying and nuzzled Rosepaws black and white pelt "Rosepaw.. Rosepaw.. Why?..." she cryed quietly.

OOC: Should we make a topic where they bring her body back to camp?

A sob wracked the thin apprentice's body as she buried her muzzle in Rosepaw's fur. "N-no..." What would they tell the camp? What about Rosepaw's future mate? What now? "W-we should bring her back to the camp..." she murmured softly, sorrow threaded through her words.
