A sad thorn{closed for Kari}

Rosepaw walked up to silentpaw in the apprentice den and nudged her. "come on lets explore the territory." she said and left the apprentice den.

Silentpaw blinked her eyes open. People certainly did enjoy making a habit of jarring her from her sleep. Ah well, she didn't mind too much. She got to her feet and shook herself to free any stray nesting materials from her pelt, trailing after Rosepaw. "Are we going hunting or something? What's going on Rosepaw?"

She looked at silentpaw. "well we don't know each other that much and I was thinking we could bond by taking a walk in the forest." she said smiling.

Silentpaw nodded hesitantly, "A-alright..." something in her belly told her that this was a bad idea, but she buried it. It was probably just needless anxiety anyways. Meeting Rosepaw's gaze, she asked "So... where are we going if I may ask?"

She started to walk out of camp and talk at the same time. "i don't really know I was just going to act like this was a patrol and make sure the borders where safe." she said turning right and started to heads towards the border by the thunderpath.

The white she-cat followed after her friend, silently accepting that she'd probably be following Rosepaw for the rest of the day. "W-well what did you want t-to talk about?"

She thought about it. "umm how about favorite stuff." she said smiling back at her. When she reached the border she turned and started to follow it towards the thunderpath.

She hummed softly, considering it. "I like visiting the nursery, and my favorite past-time is practicing my hunting skills. Butterflies are pretty. And my favorite food is sparrow." She looked around, keeping idle track of the scent markers. None of them seemed to have been disturbed so far.

She lisetend then said hers. "my favorite prey is mouse, my favorite cat is newtface, and my favorite friends are everybody." she said smiling.

Silentpaw giggled softly, her voice taking on a teasing light, "I'm sure everyone in Shadowclan can guess that Newtface is your favorite cat, you talk about him all the time after all."

IC:Minnowpaw slowly awoke and saw that both Silentpaw and Rosepaw where gone "What are they doing so early?" she mumbled and was getting a little worried. She went out into camp but didn't see them. She caught their scent and followed it out of camp towards the Thunderpath "No not the Thunderpath.." she squeaked and started running. Once she got closerr she saw both of the she-cat "There you both are! I was worried when I saw that you two where gone so early" she meowed and breathed out. She walked up to their sides and smiled "Mind if i join?" she asked them.

Rosepaw giggled along then saw minnowpaw. "sure we're just doing a bonding border patrol." she said. The where a few tail lengths of the thunderpath now and still the border scents seemed alright.

"Everything looks alright." Silentpaw mewed softly before turning her gaze up to the sky "It's so nice out today. Much less cold than it has been lately." as they walked the unpleasant, arid scent of the thunderpath began to reach her. "I really don't like this place... it always makes me feel funny. In a bad way." Every time she came here, her stomach got all twisty and upset with anxiety.

Minnowpaw nudged Silentpaws shoulder "Don't worry nothings going to happen I promise you as long as we don't walk out on the Thunder path we're totally fine" she meowed with a soft voice and smiled at the nervous apprentice.

Rosepaw ran ahead and frowned at the thunderpath. "this is where hailpaw died because of that's thunderclan cat." she thought. She couldn't hear any monsters so she decided to prove that stupid thunderclan cat she was wrong. Rosepaw ran across the thunderpath an drew it started to rumble. She looked right and saw a huge monitor coming toward she her. She tried to run faster but the Monstor was faster then her. It hit her with a big CRACK and it swerved then kept going forward. Rosepaw layed limp where she was on the thunderpath a pool of blood around her.
