Robinpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Leaping up onto the Highrock, Leopardclaw took a deep breath and called out:  "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting!"

Robinpaw tumbled out of the apprentice den, sprinting hard and fast over to the meeting. Could it be her time?

With a knowing half-smile, Leopardclaw yowled; "Robinpaw, step forward."

Robinpaw felt herself shake with excitement as she stepped forwards, meeting Leopardclaw’s gaze.

Taking a deep breath, Leopardclaw began the ceremony; "I, Leopardclaw, deputy of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn.  Robinpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Robinpaw nodded her head. ”I do.” She replied, her tone laced with nerves, yet firm and decisive. She knew this was what she wanted. She was ready.

Leopardclaw smiled, and nodded approvingly down at the she-cat.  "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name.  Robinpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Robinsong.  StarClan honors your positivity and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan."  Leaping down from the Highrock, the deputy rested his chin on the new warrior's head, completing the ceremony before stepping back and cheering her new name with the rest of the clan.
