Sandpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Blizzardshine smiled as she hoped onto the Highrock, finally another apprentice was ready to become a warrior “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Sandpaw, Stonepaw, and Cloudpaw padded over and looked up at their deputy.

Blizzardshine waited until enough cats were gathered before speaking again “Sandpaw, please, step forward”

Sandpaw stepped forward.

Blizzardshine took a deep breath “I, Blizzardshine, deputy of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn” Her gentle eyes soon landed on the the tom “Sandpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?”.

"I do." The red furred tom meowed curtly.

Blizzardshine smiled and nodded approvingly before she continued speaking “Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Sandpaw, from this moment you will be known as Sandblaze. StarClan honors your loyalty and common sense, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan” With that, she leaped off the Highrock and rested her muzzle on the newly named warrior’s head to conclude the ceremony.

Sandblaze noddd and forced a smile, although only his siblings could tell it was fake.
