A Wild Kit (Open)

"What's wrong, Wildstar, can't handle a little licking?" He nuzzled his nose into one of the kit's ears and began licking inside, purring loudly with laughter.

"Ew ew ew!" he meowed and took a large leap away from Scorchfang.

The warrior let out a mrrow of laughter. "Alright, alright, I'll spare you. You want to continue the tour around the territory before everyone back at camp wakes up?"

Wildkit walked back to Scorchfangs side "Yes! Let's continue" he purred and smiled.

Scorchfang led the way first to the Deep Marshes. He stopped a few tail-lengths from the deep mud and held out his bushy tail to keep Wildkit from getting too close. He smiled down at his younger brother. "These are the marshes. It's very dangerous for kits to play around here as they could get stuck in the mud and drown. However, this place holds a special place in my heart: it was the day I first met Minnowpaw that the two of us wandered out of camp to play here as kits, and I actually managed to catch a frog before I was even apprenticed."

Wildkit looked around "Who's Minnowpaw?.. Wait isn't she the two colored face?" he asked his brother. "Wait?! You caught a frog! Wow that's soooo cool! I want to catch a frog to!" he meowed excitedly.

"Yeah, she's the most beautiful cat in ShadowClan..." Scorchfang broke into a dreamy purr, but then he quickly cleared his throat, face hot with embarrassment. "A-Anyway... Yeah, I caught a frog here. But I wasn't the smartest kit; what I did was life-risking and stupid. You have to wait until you're apprenticed before you can hunt frogs, too, okay?" He nuzzled Wildkit's head.

Wildkit looked at his brother "Whatever, she cat's are just there to pop out new strong toms" he mumbled and stretched he's tiny fluffy little body and looked around.

Scorchfang narrowed his eyes and glared down sternly at Wildkit. "I've also made many mistakes as a kit and apprentice, and one of those is taking she-cats for granted. They're much more amazing, strong, and useful than you may think. Toms are not superior to she-cats in any way, and don't you forget that, okay?"

Wildkit looked at Scorchfang and rolled his eyes "Say what you want" he mumbled quietly. "What's there more to explore?" he then asked.

The warrior sighed in frustration. "Now I can see why my Clanmates hated me as an apprentice... I'm afraid not. It's almost sunrise, so our Clanmates will be awake soon. It's time to head black to camp."

Wildkit looked towards the sun and sighed. "Okay.." he sigh and turned towards camp slowly started walking toward camp.

"Hey, don't worry," Scorchfang purred to his little brother. "Once you're old enough to become an apprentice, your mentor will show you the entire territory. You'll be able to memorize it like the back of your paw."

He smiled "Do you have an apprentice? I want you as a mentor, even if you're boring some times" he giggled and bounced around his brother.

"I do. Her name is Brownpaw. But I've heard of mentors having two apprentices before, so perhaps Magpiestar will let me be your mentor as well," Scorchfang replied with a smile.
