Minnowpaw’s assessment (closed)

Copperfang padded out of the warriors den and yawned. Blinking the she cat gave a little stretch before she padded to the apprentices den. Sticking her head inside the red bengal looked around until she saw her apprentice. Padding over silently she nudged Minnowpaw. “Hey Minnowpaw get up we’re gonna go do your assessment. ” She meowed before backing out and going to the prey pile to grab a lizard for Minnowpaw. She sat down near the entrance and curled her tail around her paws while she waited.

Minnowpaw woke up and looked at her mentor "Coming" she meowed and got up. She streatched quickly and then she walked out of the den. She walked up to her mentor and sat down. She glanced at the lizard "Is that for me?" she asked and nodded towards the lizard.

Copperfang purred and nodded, nudging the lizard to her apprentice she gestured her to eat it. “Hurry so we can get this assessment finished and you can move onto the next stage of your life.” She meowed her icy blue eyes gazing down at the younger cat.

Minnowpaw smiled slightly and asked before she took a bite "Is there any rules I have to keep in mind?". As she waited for a reply she nippled on the lizard.

Copperfang thought for a moment before speaking. “Yes in fact there are. As you know I will be following your progress while you hunt a specific amount of prey. You are not to acknowledge or interact with me just focus on hunting. I’ll have you hunt three pieces of different prey it doesn’t matter what you catch. If you run into a predator I’ll come to aid you. That’s it really. Afterwards I’ll speak to Magpiestar about your moonstone journey and then once that is completed you should be able to become a warrior.” She meowed giving her tail a little flick.

Minnowpaw swallowed the rest of the lizard and nodded "Okay I've got it, three pieces of diffrent prey can't be to hard" she said and stood up, ready to head out and hunt.

Copperfang nodded and stood up and led the way out of camp and nodded her head towards the territory. “Alright you may start. Remember I’m watching.” She meowed and waited for her apprentice to go off before padding off after her.

OOC: go ahead and post multiple times to get the hunting done don’t wait for me I’ll post again once you are done or roll a 10

Minnowpaw nodded and walked of in a quick pace towards the Deep Marshes. Once she got there she  started looking for prey. The first piece of prey she caught the scent of were a frog. She got into a crouching position and stalked towards it. Once she where close enough to the slimy frog she unsheated her claws and pounced on it.

She caught it without any struggles and quickly snapped it's neck. She layed it on a near by rock so that the lifeless frog wouldn't sink into the mud. She then continued to stalk for more prey.

'Hunting Dice' : 2

She looked  around and saw a small mouse. She got into a hunting crouch and stalked slowly towards it. She made sure not to step in any on the muddy water puddles. She  stopped behind the mouse and got ready to pounce.

She heard a loud growl behind her and quickly spun around, seeing a fox. She slowly started to back away from it "C-copperfang?.." she trembled and despratly looked around for her mentor.

OOC: These assessments arn't going to good for my cats.. My RC cat also rolled 10..

'Hunting Dice' : 10

As a fox snuck up on her apprentice the bengal let out a low growl and ran and jumped onto the fox tackling it to the ground away from her apprentice. They went rolling and the she cat leaped to her feet as quick as she could her fur raised and her fangs bared.

Copperfang used Run-and-Tackle dealing -10 HP & -10 SP + 3 since opponent was not focused on Copperfang

The foxs growled at Copperfang who had sent them rolling. It got up and shook some mud of it self, then it ran up to Copperfang and bit her by the scruff then shaking her back and forth.

Minnowpaw ran up behind the fox and grabbed it's tail and pulled it hard. She heard the fox yowl in pain as it lost balance and fell to the ground.

Minnowpaw used Tail Yank dealing -2 HP & -10 SP to Fox. Fox is stunned for 1 move.

OOC: so Copperfang would be fazed which mis and she cant fight for one turn so she can next turn

iC: Copperfang dazed watched as her apprentice yanked on the fox’s tail.

OOC2: so after this fight she has completed her assessment

IC: The fox quietly growled as it layed on the, unable to move.

Minnowpaw hissed and stood over the fox. She had to think quick before it could get up so she started clawing at it's belly with her hind legs.

Minnowpaw used Belly Rake dealing -7 HP and -10 SP to Fox
