Assessment for Bluepaw and Minnowpaw (closed for Bluesong and I)

Cloverpool padded into the training hall waiting for her daughter Minnowpaw and her apprentice Bluepaw. Today was an exciting day. The day that she would give her apprentice her assessment, as well as her daughter and usually a mother can't play favoritism but she hoped her daughter would pass.

Minnowpaw ran through the forest until she saw her mother in the sandy clearing know as the training hollow. she took a seat beside her mother and waited for her cousin.

Cloverpool purred when her daughter came running in and took a seat besides her. "Glad to see you! Lets wait for Bluepaw and then we'll get started." She meowed.

Minnowpaw nodded. "Yes mom." Purring she flicked her tail back and forth excitedly.

Bluepaw raced out of her den and skidded to a halt.
"I'm here!" She panted.

Cloverpool purred and got to her paws. "Alright it's time for your assessment. Hmm.. First off lets test your hunting skills. Minnowpaw go over by Tall oak and Bluepaw go over by the Owl Tree. I want you both to climb a tree and look for a squirrel, and then a thrush, a rabbit, and a shrew. When your done meet over at Tall oak and I'll test your fighting skills." The tortoiseshell warrior meowed before padding over to wait at Tall Oak.

Minnowpaw nodded and padded off after her mother but when she got there she stayed well away from her mother so she could hunt. As she climbed a tree she saw a squirrel and pounced on it and then gave it a swift bite to the throat. She dropped the squirrel to the ground and caught a thrush. When she was done she hunted for a rabbit and then a shrew. She carried her large pile over to her mother and set it down.

Cloverpool nodded in satisfaction. "Good now we wait for Bluepaw to finish and we can finish our assessment." She meowed and sat down.

Minnowpaw nodded and sat next to her.

Bluepaw nodded and took off for the Owl Tree. The old apprentice bounded into the tree and perched herself on a branch. She looked around and listened for sounds. Then she picked up the familiar brush of a squirrel running through the tree.
"Yes," she murmured and raced through the tree and began to track down the squirrel. Bluepaw crouched on a thick branch and watched the squirrel. She leaped forward and grabbed the squirrel, fell to the ground and killed the squirrel with a swift bite to it's spine. Now she needed to catch a thrush, rabbit, and shrew.

Minnowpaw flicked her tail and gathered her pile off to one side.

Cloverpool got up and paced thinking about what moves she would tell them to do on the Tall Oak. Hmm maybe, Front paw strike, Front paw blow, and Tail yank on me. Hmm.. perfect.. now all we need is for Bluepaw to get here.

Bluepaw heaved her catches along and finally reach her group.
"Sorry," she mewed, muffled by all her prey.

Cloverpool smiled. "It's alright dear. Now i want you to use Front paw strike and front paw blow on the Tall Oak." She meowed to the apprentices.

Minnowpaw nodded and attacked the tree when she was done she waited for Bluepaw to finish and for her mother to tell her whats next.

Cloverpool nodded in satisfaction. "Bluepaw when your done i want you to use Tail Yank on me."

Minnowpaw nodded and snuck behind her mother and pulled her tail stunning her.

Bluepaw nodded at her next command and she slink away then quickly ran in and snatched Cloverpool's tail in her mouth.

IC: Cloverpool nodded stunned. "Alright good. You've both passed. take your prey back to camp and I'll talk to Duskfall or Spottedstar to make you both Warriors." The tortoiseshell warrior meowed and got up. She padded off towards Thunderclan camp.

Minnowpaw nodded and when her mother said she would talk to either Duskfall or Spottedstar about them making her and Bluepaw Warriors she grinned and picked up her bid catch and brought it back to camp.

Bluepaw turned to Minnowpaw.
"Oh I can't wait to know how we did!" Bluepaw nearly squealed.

"I can't wait either!!" Minnowpaw replied. She set her prey down on the prey pile then went into the apprentices den to rest.
