Mallowpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Crowstar jumped up onto the Tall Branch and called out to his clan, "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!" Another apprentice was ready to gain his warrior name, and the leader was happy about that.

Mallowpaw walked out of the apprentice's den and proceeded to sit down. Deep down in her heart she wished this was her warrior ceremony. Mallowpaw didn't know but Starclan had granted her wish.

Crowstar scanned the clearing for a moment before spotting the correct apprentice. "Today we are gathered for a warrior ceremony. Mallowpaw please come forward." The leader said looking at the she-cat.

The she-cat got up quickly. Her blind eyes widened. A smile crept onto her face but she remained as serious as she could. The apprentice stepped foward, eyes shining and head held high.

"I, Crowstar, leader of Skyclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Mallowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Crowstar asked.

Cloudroar say amongst the crowd of his clanmates as he listened to his daughters warrior ceremony. His blind eyes glimmered with pride and fondness, while he waited to hear what Mallowpaw’s warrior name would be. He knew she had struggled with her blindness just as he had, but she had come so far and he couldn’t have been a prouder father than he was in the moment

Mallowpaw stood taller as she spoke the two words that would change her life forever, "I do." She had never been as confident and prideful in her entire life as she had been that very moment. Littlepaw's words still plaulyed in her head. She will always try to make her clan, expecially her father, proud.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Mallowpaw, from this day forward you shall be known as Mallowbrook. Skyclan honors your persistence and ability to adapt. Congratulations." Crowstar said. He felt to call her similar to water was best fitting for this blind apprentice. She had overcome and adapted and it too a lot of work on her behalf.
