Shadekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowstar called out to his clan. "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!"

Shadekit walked out of the nursery.

"Shadekit you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to become an apprentice. Please come forward." Crowstar waited until the kit stepped forward. "Shadekit from this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Shadepaw. Your mentor will be Foxhunter." The leader said to the apprentice.

The spotted tom was watching from the edge of the group at his son's ceremony until the leader called his name. His ears perked with interest as he approached Shadepaw with a serious expression. Thank you, Crowstar, for letting me train my son. I'll do it better than last time... He thought when he touched noses with the dark-furred tom. Then, he nudged his head with one paw, gently. "I'll make a good warrior of you, Shadepaw. Meet at the entrance tomorrow at dawn for training."
