Viperpaw stood at the border, the blood from the battle had disappeared already but prey hadn't return to the rocks just yet because of all the commotion. The blue gray apprentice, with her eyes narrowed stared at the trees across the border. She had something to prove. She wasn't useless, she was more powerful than Thudnerclan. This was to prove that she was fit to be by Ivystar's side. It had to be done.

The small apprentice didn't falter in the slightest as she stepped over the border. Ready to fight anyone who came her way. Riverclan deserved to have all of their land anyway. It should be theirs.

Sharptooth had been watching her for a while now.
Her paws were itching to get into a fight or catch a mouse. She had to do something. She couldn't be cooped up in that awful camp any longer.
So she was here.

The apprentice was a Riverclanner. She had probably been on that battlefield. She had probably watched while that horrible warrior murdered Sharptooth's sister.
Sharptooth was only here to make sure the gray apprentice got what was coming to her.


With a bellow, Sharptooth sprung out of the undergrowth. "Surprise!" she roared, rearing onto her hind legs and towering over the apprentice.
"You made a mistake stepping over that border, little one."
With a hiss Sharptooth sent the apprentice flying with one large paw before chasing after, like a dog playing with a chew toy.

Viperpaw hissed as a warrior came out of nowhere and attacked her, but this is what she wanted. This is what she asked for. This was her chance to prove to everyone she was the best. The apprentice took a step back before jumping and trying to pin the larger warrior.

Viperpaw used Leap and Hold dealing 6 damage, -10 Sp. Sharptooth is stunned for two turns.

Sharptooth hissed and reared onto her hind legs, trying harder to shake the apprentice off. "Your clan won because your so-called 'leader' called for the murder of an innocent child!" She roared. With a growl, she gave a final shake and sent the apprentice flying off.

Viperpaw went flying of the older warrior before landing on her feet a few tail lengths away. The blue gray apprentice felt the blows from earlier stinging her but she didn't mind. She had to win. "Well it's the price you pay for trying to take our land! She did warn you didn't she?" Viperpaw growled there was still some uncertainty in her.. Would Thunderclan try to kill her in this moment as revenge? Even if she did die.. She was fighting for her clan and Ivystar would get revenge.

"Trying to take your land??" Sharptooth took a step forward menacingly. "Sunningrocks was our only hope! Because of Ivystar's pride, Thunderclan is condemned. That mangy she-cat denied a starving clan a pawful of rocks."

With a grunt, she pummeled Viperpaw's face. "Don't make excuses for a leader destined for the Dark Forest, Riverclanner."

Viperpaw let out a hiss as the warrior slashed at her face with claws. She couldn't keep fighting.. She failed her clan.. She failed herself.. She wanted to stay but she couldn't. She had to go home.

The apprentice wanted to hiss at the Thunderclan warrior. She wanted to lash out again but she had no strength only hurt pride, and some sorrow for that Thunderclan apprentice. As much as her head said they deserved it, she couldn't let it stand without some sympathy.. She didn't have a mother. She turned away from the Thunderclan warrior. "I'm... sorry about your apprentice.." She knew it wouldn't be enough but maybe.. just maybe one of their cats showing sympathy about the apprentice would help them a little.. If they couldn't beat her.. then they weren't so bad after all..

The bleeding apprentice crossed the River and sped hope as much as her broken body would carry her.
