The cat and a rose 🌹 {open}

Rosepaw woke from the apprentice den. She smiled at herself and went to the food pile. She had a wonderful dream about a flower and food. She picked out a mouse and went to the center to eat. She sat down and ate. When she was done she licked her mouth then went to the entrance. Before she got there she saw a rose by a tree in the territory. Even though her name was Rosepaw she had never seen a rose. She went up to it and picked it. It was so pretty she decided to show someone. She went back into camp and sat down waiting for someone's to come see it. She set it down by her paws so she could get the taste out of her mouth.

Minnowpaw woke up and walked out of the apprentice den towards the prey pile. She graps a frog and sees Rosepaw. She walked up to her and sits down starting to nibble on the frog. "Good morning Rosepaw" she says and smiles.

Rosepaw looked up to see minnowpaw. "hey minnowpaw why are you eating a frog I think they taste gross." she said with a yuck face. "look at this rose." she said pawing it.

"Frogs taste wonderful!" she giggled and then looked at the rose "Thats so cool! And your named Rosepaw after the rose, thats cool. Im named after a stupid fish" she sighed.

"its ok darkpaw says minnows taste good." she said trying to cheer up her friend. "here keep it." she said giving her the rose.

"Really? Thanks!" she said and smiled. "Well I hope she dosn't eat me if we meet" she said and giggled. She put a light paw on the rose and smiled.

Foxkit padded outside the nursery. She felt fresh and brand new. She walked towards the center of the camp. She saw two other cats talking to each other. One was looking at something and another was eating a frog. She was interested and went towards the two cats.

"Hello!" she said, "What is that bright red 'thing'?"

Minnowpaw looked at the kit "Hi Foxkit, right? And this is a flower called rose" she said and smiled at the kit. She took a small bite from the frog.

Foxkit nodded. "Nice, it's very pretty." she commented on the flower. She smelled a tasty smell of flesh near her. It smelled like fresh-kill but more watery than usual. She saw the dark and murky green prey Minnowpaw was biting on. "Minnowpaw? What type of fresh-kill are you eating?" Foxkit asked.

"It's a frog, here you can try it" she said and pushed it over to Foxkit with a smile.

Foxkit hesitated when Minnowpaw offered her some of this "frog". She was hungry though. She took a small bite from the frog. The outside was slimy but the inside was very interesting. It tasted like normal fresh-kill, but with a little bit watery taste to it. "I like it!" Foxkit said licking her lips, "Are 'frogs' easy to hunt?"

Ic: Rosepaw watched the whole conversation. "well if they don't jump away they are easy but I don't prefer frogs I would go for a mouse, bird, or lizard but that's my pick." she said smiling. "here foxkit." she said ripping a petal of the rose and giving it to the kit.

Minnowpaw took a bit of the frog again "Toads are a bit bigger and tastes almost the same, and a bit slower so I prefer those but there was none in the prey pile" she said.

Foxkit nodded, understanding as they explained to her. She noticed that the other cat, Rosepaw gave her a petal from the 'rose'. "Thank you! It's really pretty." Foxkit said happily.

Brownkit walked out of the nursery. She saw her friend, Rosepaw, with Minnowpaw and Foxkit. She ran up to them and saw they were looking at a flower Brownkit never saw before. "What is that flower?" she asked.
