Training (closed for Tiger_Lily)

Blazingwing slid quietly into the apprentice den, gazing tiredly at the sleeping figure of Dovepaw. It was fairly early - the hunting patrol had only just left, but he wanted to get her used to waking up early. He crept over to the apprentice, being careful not to step on any sleeping cats, and gave her a gentle nudge. "Dovepaw, wake up and get something to eat, we're training," he purred into her ear before exiting the den and waiting patiently for the she-cat to get up. He relished the peacefulness of the camp at this time. It was as if the world was sleeping.

Dovepaw streched her slender legs and stepped into thhe cool morning air. She grabbed a pigeon from the fresh-kill pile and walked over to Blazingwing.

Blazingwing smiled and quickly grabbed a vole for himself. After scoffing it down, he alerted Dovepaw with a flick of his tail and led her into the forest, in the same place he had trained Ravenpaw. He whipped around to face his apprentice, a mischievous glint in his eyes. He steadied his paws, his claws digging into the dirt for balance. He instinctively sheathed them. Not this time.

“Go on,” he mewed, “Show me what you can do.”

Dovepaw smiled and faced her mentor. "But of course!"

“Ready when you are,” Blazingwing grinned.

Dovepaw positioned herself to attack. She crouched her long legs and pounced. She landed just before Blazingwing and struck him on the nose with a paw, then jumped back, awaiting his next move.

Dovepaw uses Front Paw Strike on Blazingwing. Dovepaw loses 10 Stamina and deals 6 damage.

ooc: sorry for late post, i've been kinda busy. also, for this, i'll only use apprentice moves.

Blazingwing flinched. "Nice move," he growled through gritted teeth. She was pretty fast for a new apprentice. After waiting for a few seconds to try and take her by surprise, he bolted at the small she-cat and rocketed like a mad dog into Dovepaw's side, shoving her onto the floor. He stepped back, regaining his previous stance, and stared at his apprentice, his bushy tail fluffed up.

Blazingwing used Run-and-Tackle, dealing 9 damage and using 10 stamina.

Dovepaw gritted her teeth, bracing herself for the attack. Nevertheless, the attack knocked the wind out of the tall cat's lungs. She fell to her side, then sprang back to her feet. She leapt onto her mentor and clawed at his back, pinning him down.

Dovepaw uses Leap-and-hold on Blazingwing, costing 10 Stamina and dealing 6 damage. Blazingwing is stunned for 2 turns.
