A Lonly Rouge

Buttercup narrowed her eyes at the other she-cat. "What's gotten under your fur?" she grunted.

She glanced at Buttercup "Look outside! Its snowing" she snarled, her tail lashing back and forth in annoyance. "Its cold, disgusting, it gets in you'r fur and between you'r toes! It's no good anyways it spreds sickness and the prey almost fully disappers, thankfully we have mice here." she complained angrily.

Weasel stiffened, holding two mice in his mouth he had caught. He pushed one toward Buttercup's side and kept one for himself. The tom gulped it down quickly. With a yawn, Weasel constructed himself a nest out of hay and curled up in it to sleep.

Brooke glanced outside and layed down in the hay. "Guess it could be worse..." she mumbled to herself. She looked at the mice who where running around everywhere. She unsheated her claws and stod up into a hunting position, she slowly started to walk towards the mice.

Buttercup sighed sadly as she stared outside at the slowly falling snow. She had always dreamt of playing with her mate and all her kits in the snow once leaf-bare rolled around. She fantasized of running through snowy fields and rolling around in the white particles until they all could blend in with the fluffy blanket underpaw.

But now snow brought her nothing but bittersweet dreams of what could have happened, but never will.

She pushed aside the mouse Weasel had caught for her and laid her chin on her paws, staring sadly out of the barn.

Brooke stopped and looked at Buttercup "Whats wrong?" she asked. She stod up from her hunting position.

"My kits would have loved the snow..." The queen's voice was no more than a whisper.

Brooke walked up to her and sat down "Im sure you'll get her back soon. Um.. You might wanna try to get her back soon... I mean there can spread green-cough and white-cough in camp in leaf-bare from what I've heard.." she said and looked at the she-cat.

"I'm waiting to hear back from Firestone," she meowed softly, not taking her eyes off the falling snow. "He will help me reunite with my kit. He has to. He's the only cat who can help me, he's so closely linked to the Clans... being a ShadowClan cat himself."

"Well hope you can trust him and that you'll get you'r kit back" she said and looked outside.
