Brooke layed clamly in a little pile of hay in the abandoned barn, waiting for something to happen when she heard a noise outside the barn

(OOC: I'll join you, only because Buttercup is currently residing in the barn XD)

An orange-and-white she-cat with blue eyes walked into the barn, licking her lips at the thought of hunting down and eating another delectable mouse. She spotted the brown speckled rogue and approached her. Her gaze was calm, yet a glimmer of challenge flashed in them. "Hello. What can I do for you?"

Brooke looked at her and sat up "Hi. Nothing Im just fine without help" she answerd.

"Oh, I see," Buttercup meowed. She scratched an itch behind her ear. "Its just that this is kind of my barn now. Surely you've smelled the scent markers I've laid around here; they're still there, you know. So I'll ask you this question: why are you trespassing in my claimed home?"

Brooke laughed a little "You wanna know why? I dont care if you have "claimed" this place. Plus I only stay a half moon or less. Im gonna get going once it gets colder and leaf-bare is close by" she aswerd the other cat infront of her.
She started brushing herself, still keeping an eye on the stranger infront of her.

Buttercup narrowed her eyes at the rather rude cat, then snorted. "Fine, but don't go hunting any of my mice. I'll catch your prey."

Brooke grined "Well I dont mind getting my food served" she said. She stopped groming herself and looked directly at her again "So whats your name?" she said.

"Fine, but you eat only when I allow you to," she huffed. "I'll tell you my name if you tell me yours first."

As she told her that she could only eat when she was allowed to she quickly stood up and hissed furiously"I may be young but Im not a stupid kit. And as for my name, Ill tell you once you show me a little respect" she answerd.

Buttercup narrowed her eyes angrily. "You're really asking for me to show you a little respect? I've made my home here first -- I have scent markers up and everything -- and now you're just going to waltz on into my territory and expect me to give you respect?" Her fur bristled along her spine aggressively, and her claws unsheathed.

Brooke unsheathed her claws and hissed. "Well you dont have to act like some kind of over protective mother to this crappy old barn!". She stod up and looked challenging at her.
She saw a mouse and looked at it for awhile before glancing up at the stranger with a grin and pounced on the mouse killing it directly. She looked up at the stranger keeping the mouse under her paw "Oh.. Right Im sooo sorry I forgot! I dont get to hunt her cuz' you think that you own the place" she said sarcastically and took a bite of the mouse. "Whatca gonna do kittypet" she meowed, taunting the other cat.

Buttercup snarled viciously before leaping behind Brooke and gnashing her teeth into her tail, yanking back hard to knock her to the ground.

Buttercup used Tail Yank, dealing 5 damage and costing 10 SP. Brooke is stunned for one turn.

She hissed and jumped away from her trying to dodge but dosnt succeed. She lookes at her and backs up.

OOC: Im pretty new to this forum so I dont really know hw the figthing works yet, do you think you could explain a little for me? Or where I can find a good explantion?

(OOC: Well, I'm no mentor yet, but I'll still give explaining the battle system a try. You can find the Battle System here and the Battle Rules here. The first link to the Battle System leads you to a list of moves cats of different ranks can use. Brooke's rank is Default Rogue -- as is Buttercup's -- so you're allowed to use moves assigned up to Young Warrior. (This means you can also use moves from Kit, Apprentice, and Newly Appointed Warrior, but you cannot use moves from Warrior and up.)

Each cat has HP - Health Points - and SP - Stamina Points. Each move always costs SP; you can find which move costs how much in the first chart of the Battle System link. The damage cats do can be found on the second chart entitled, "Damage Done by Each Rank." Again, as Brooke is a Default Rogue and follows the Young Warrior stats, you must follow the damage dealt from the Young Warrior (YW) slot.

If you click here, you will find the Rank System. This is used to determine how much HP and SP each rank of cat has. You and I both control Default Rogues in this topic, so we'll be following the Default Rogue HP/SP stats, which reads 45/140.

I hope you were able to understand all that. Again, I'm pretty new to this site myself; I've only been here for a month. If you're still confused, see if one of the moderators can give a better explanation. XD)

OOC: That was a really good explanation! xD But I still cant find how much damage the moves does.
