Adjustment [open]

Heatherpaw squealed in fear as she bolted off, eyes wide with terror. She reached the warriors' den and whimpered softly before sticking her head inside, her voice small and feeble. "U-Um, Reedheart?... Sp-Specklefang, Emberpaw, and I are going on a patrol. Will you come, too? Please?..."

The pale golden tom left the den with sleepy eyes as he yawned, stretching his whole body in front of the den. The voice of the she-cat woke him up in a good time. Smiling at her warmly, Reedheart nodded to her request. ”Of course, a patrol sounds great and you’ll get more practice for your training.” Even if he didn’t know Specklefang very well he heard the rumors of she being quite aggressive and intimidating. That’s why Heatherpaw probably was so shy and afraid but it was his duty as a mentor to give her confidence. After all, Specklefang was also her clanmate.
Approaching the other two she-cats with his apprentice by his side, he flicked his tail smiling. ”Morning! Heatherpaw told me you are thinking about going on a patrol and I think is going to be fun! Mind if I join you?”

Emberpaw nodded to Specklefang declaring that she ought to assign more duties to her - honestly, she agreed, she wanted to do everything she could for the Clan - but her rather aggressive nodding was interrupted by Reedheart exiting the warriors den. She offered a friendly and polite greeting to him, recognizing him on sight though she hadn't been able to by name alone.

Specklefang turned to face Reedheart, getting to her paws and nodding. "Yes, it was their idea. I'll lead it." Specklefang meowed sternly, after all, she was their senior so it was only expected that she took the lead regardless. Specklefang spun on her paws, tail up as she strode to the entrance, powerful muscles rippling as the scarred she-cat disappeared beyond the barrier.
