Shadowleaf let out a growl at Specklefang's stupidity. "I may not like you but you are still my clanmate, and I promised to help the clan didn't I? That means you too." She may not have grown up in the clans but she still made a promise to Thunderclan and Blizzardstar, and she knew loyalty even if she still didn't understand some of the clan's ways.

Her amber eyes stayed on the Fox, she reared up on her hind legs before slamming her front paws down on the fox's head.

Daisypaw tried to get back into the fight but her paw hurt to much. Her heart bested faster and faster every time she saw them take down the fox. Just by the look of the fox she could tell it was low on energy. She looked at foxpaw not caring if her cheeks where red mixed with her black fur. He was awesome at fighting and knew he would be a good warrior. She wished to could go back to the fight and help.

Specklefang huffed, looking away from Shadowleaf for a moment before her eyes were back on the fox. Stepping so she was orientated in front of Shadowleaf, she eyed it down, her tail lashing and her fur raised in her anger. There was no room for distraction, she'd protect her clan-mates with her life. Specklefang launched forwards into another clash with the fox, her paws ripping into fur and flesh as she slammed her paw into its face and wrapped her jaws around its throat, shoving and pushing it to the ground as one of her paws came up to cover its nose in a suffocating lock.

Soon, the fox fell still but her grip did not cease for moments. Specklefang waited for the beat of it's pounding blood to stop before she released it. Specklefang stood back onto her paws, her breath heavy as her muzzle was drenched with blood. She turned back to look at Shadowleaf and the apprentices, flattening out her fur as she made contact with her clan-mates. "You two, go back to camp." The she-cat meowed lowly, before turning to Shadowleaf. "What should we do with it? Leave it at the border?" She asked.

Daisypaw limped out of the bushes. "you heard what your mom said foxpaw let's go home." she said standing on her three legs."can you help me get home foxpaw?" she asked him the limp over to him.

"Sure, lean on me," he meowed, stopping to let Daisypaw lean on him

Shadowleaf watched the two apprentices leave her chest heaving from the fight as she recaptured her breath. Her eyes turned back to Specklefang. "Yeah.. We don't need it's scent scaring away what little prey we do have in the area." Hopefully their clanmates would be happy to know the Fox was gone.
