Young Hunters (Closed)

Foxpaw sat near the apprentices' den. Great StarClan he was bored!
He stood up and poked his head through the entrance to his den. "Anyone want to hunt?" he asked. He felt like spending some time with the other apprentices. What better way to do that than hunt?

Daisypaw came out of the apprentice den. She was soo bored and heard foxpaw ask about a hunting party. "morning." she said sleepily. "sure I'll go hunting who else is coming?" she asked her friend. She hoped duskpaw(pika) and toadpaw(dingorak) would join them. She sat down where foxpaw was and waited.

OOC: since your apprentice should Spottedkit become one too?

OOC: Yeah. That would be a good idea.

"Awesome! And I don't know yet. I'm still waiting for other people to join us, if anyone wants too," he replied.

Daisypaw looked at foxpaw. She couldn't resist seeing that he looked strong even for a new apprentice. He sorta looked like a warrior except for his kid face. She started to freak out. what is this I'm feeling, she thought to herself. If she started getting feelings for foxpaw she knew her brother would laugh at her or Spottedkit would call her step-sister. She looked at him again and her heart skipped a beat.

want me to PM toadpaw(dingorak) to join or want this to be just foxpaw and Daisypaw

OOC: heh nice. And I will be fine with Toadpaw/other Apprentices joining in, but just him and Daisypaw is just as fine too, so either one works. Also, it's probably gonna take Foxpaw just a little longer to actually start liking Daisypaw back.

Foxpaw looked at Daisypaw. What was that look in her eyes? He shrugged, then looked back into the apprentices den. "Come on! Surely someone else wants to go hunting?" He paused, waiting for answers.

Daisypaw watched him and put her emotions inside her for now today was a day for hunting not sitting. "come on let's just let them sleep we can bring enough prey back to feed the whole clan for a moon." she claimed proudly. She walked towards the entrance and turned to see if he was following her.

Foxpaw shrugged and nodded in agreement. "Alright I'm coming."
Once they got into the territory, he turned to Daisypaw. "Okay. Watch this!" He smelled the air, and caught scent of a shrew. He got into a crouch and stalked towards it. Once he saw it, he pounced, but he overshot it, and went right over it."Uh, h-heh.. not my best try.."

Daisypaw watched the tom in aww. She knew she was better than him because she practiced but he looked like a full grown warrior. She knew she had to keep quiet to not scare the prey so she brushed her tail on his pelt to tell him she was watching.

You wanna try?" he asked, faintly purring.

She kept in a laugh and nodded her head. She looked around smelling her surroundings until she caught the smell of a mouse. She started to stalk the mouse and when she was close enough she went into a crouch. She got ready and waited until the mouse looked down then leaped. She landed on it and ended its life. She brought it back to where foxpaw was with his kill and placed it with the shrew.

"You got lucky!" Foxpaw playfully teased.
He detected a vole. Dropping into a crouch, he stalked forward. Once he got close enough, he leapt forward, this time landing close enough. He swiped it with his claws, killing it. "Here ya go." He dropped it next to the mouse.

Daisypaw smiled and smelled a vole. She guessed he smelled it to because he started to stalk a bush. She dropped her mouse and put dirt over it then followed him. She hoped he caught this so he wouldn't think he was a bad hunter.
