Frostpaw's Moonstone Journey

"no." she said before the cat disappeared and she woke up. "that was awesome." she whispered to brindlewhisker.

Stretching her stiff limbs as she realized Frostpaw was slowly waking up, Brindlewhisker blearily blinked away her exhaustion as she let out a silent yawn. As much as she loved going on these trips with the various apprentices of her Clan, it was always so exhausting to wake up at the crack of dawn, travel all day, and then stay up all night. Shaking her head, the Deputy's ears perked as Frostpaw spoke to her.

"Yes, I suppose it is awesome." Brindlewhisker softly agreed, nodding as she spoke. Stiffly rising to her paws, the brindled she-cat rolled her shoulders as she quickly glanced up at the ceiling of the cave. The weak light of dawn was already evident though the gaping hole in the roof of the cave. "Now come along- if we leave right now I think we can run into the dawn patrol on our way home- and maybe we can pick up a nice, early-morning rabbit for breakfast." She mewed before gesturing with her tail for Frostpaw to follow after.
