Little Adventurer(need a patrol/cat to find her)

Gone... what do they mean by Gone, Frost thought a slight bit of panic as she picked up on the conversation. She was quiet hoping that it wasn't what she thought.  Then the spotted tabby said knew and something clicked in the small she lot's mind"my name is Frost"She mewed quietly."what do you mean she gone....where is she?"She asked blinking fear lacing her voice.

Lichenfang's  fur bristled ever so slightly at Leafstorm's words"I can tell she is why can't you tell...you seen the kit much like I had before the untimely disappearance"She mewed her gaze narrowing slightly as she looked to Leafstorm. Her gaze then softened as she looked to the she kit. She moved with hesitancy but her features soft and gently motherly really. She came and sat close to the kit curling her fluffy ish tail around the small kit"its....better to explain at a later time sweetie"She said softly.

Leafstorm sighed but nodded as memories of Cherryblossom flooded his mind. He bit back an angry retort -She didn't want to keep my kits.- and turned to Frost, his expression softening as he looked at her. There was some explaining to do.

"C'mon then, little one." He purred gently, nudging her. "Let's get you back to camp."
He got to his feet, taking a step forward to balance himself. "I could watch her in the nursery. Both my boys are still kits and around her age, so they'd get along well, and she's old enough to be weaned."

"It's nice to meet you Frost."  Blinking up at his mate for a moment, he nodded agreement to her thought of telling the kit about her history later on, before turning back to gaze at Frost.  "Yes, there's not enough time now to say everything."  As Leafstorm nudged the kit to her paws, Leopardclaw let out a purr of approval to his suggestion.  "Yes, that sounds fine.  It would be good for her to have some other kits to play with..."  With a bit of a mournful sigh, the golden deputy turned to Lichenfang and half-smiled, flicking his tail.  "Come on, let's go see what Blizzardstar says."

Frost blinked as she was nudged to her paws blinking she was quiet for a long moment wondering if Soot the tom whim had took her in would be alright. Quietly she started to follow beside them quietly "o..ok"she said.

Lichenfang stood and walked close to Frost as they headed back with the young kit."I just hope that Blizzardstar let's her stay"she mewed quietly.

Leopardclaw led the way as the small patrol entered camp, glancing around warily to see if Blizzardstar was near. He would prefer if she met Jaysong's kit first before any other cat took notice. Glancing back, he shot a telling glance to Leafstorm, his gaze trying to silently say keep her out of sight. Dashing up to the den under the Highrock, where he was guessing Blizzardstar would be at this time of day, the golden spotted tabby tom called out; "Blizzardstar, I- we- have something we need to show you." His heart pumping faster than normal, he cast a nervous glance back at his two companions. He had brought back other orphaned kits in the past, but this case was very, very different.

Leafstorm's ears flicked and ushered the small kit beside him, hiding her behind his fluffy tail.
He blinked and sat up straighter- How would Blizzardstar react to Frost? She had been less-than welcoming to Cherryblossom, but those were different times...
He shifted his paws, trying to reassure himself and hide the kit more.

Lichenfang blinked and wanted to help hide the small kit but she let Leafstorm do so.

Frost blinked co fused but her bright green gaze looked around her gaze so much like her mother's.

Blizzardstar was applying a mixture of herbs that Honeypaw had given to her not long ago to deal with the injuries the mist had caused her, mostly to avoid infection. It tasted a bit bitter in her tongue, but she didn’t mind. Her wounds were nearly completely healed by now and she didn’t want to grow overconfident and risk leaving the clan without a leader by tripping a second time with the same stone.

Her gaze raised when Leopardclaw entered in her den, tilting her head with her words. She quickly applied the rest of the mixture on her wounds and then groomed herself a bit to not look like a mess of herbs and fur nor smell too weird before getting up and following him outside. Her gaze soon met with Leafstorm’s and Lichenfang’s, giving them a polite nod as a greeting “What is it that you wanted to show me?”.

Lichenfang was the first to speak."well...we were out on a patrol when we came across a kit..."She hesitated for a moment."She's Jaysong's kit. Jaysong had wanted to hid the fact about the kit after she had lost her but we all assumed she went missing...i...i know this is her kits and we found her alone "She mewed quickly speaking up. She hoped that the little kit would be permitted to stay. She did look like Jaysong even had her eyes except for the ginger-brown patches on her pelt.

Frost heard the new voice and tried to see who it was from around the tabby in front of her trying to hide her."who is it?"She gave a small squeak squeezing her way free or at least attempting to. Her small fluffy head peeked through her olive green eyes looked at the leader her eyes so much like Jaysong's

Leopardclaw opened his mouth and drew breath to explain the situation, but before he could speak his mate seemed to take the words right out of his mouth, so the golden tom closed his mouth and padded over to stand by her side, their flanks brushing slightly as he gazed down at Jaysong's kit.  She had come out of hiding and managed to catch a glimpse of Blizzardstar, to his amusement.  Frost seemed like an inquisitive kit, and if she took after her mother's skill and strength the she-cat would be a force to be reckoned with.  I just hope Blizzardstar sees that...  The white spotted leader was naturally a very merciful, loving cat with a heart as wide and broad as the sky; but he worried that this kit's unconventional origins might influence her views this time.

Leafstorm reluctantly moved his tail aside, exposing the kit. He knew Bizzardstar well enough to know that this kit wouldn't be mistreated, but he didn't factor out the rest of the clan, who definitely may not accept Frost.
He said nothing- Leopardstar and Lichenfang were far more experienced than he was, and they could handle the situation.

Frost blinked as she was more exposed to the new cat in front of them. She blinked olive green eyes looking up at her."h...hi"She mewed quietly

Jaysong’s kit? The white leader looked at the small kit hiding behind Leafstorm with a mix of confusion, disbelief and curiosity “I didn’t know Jaysong had a kit” Her voice was mostly neutral, making it near to impossible to figure out what she was thinking or feeling regarding this whole situation. Now that the fact was pointed out she could see the resemblance between her deceased clanmate and the small ball of innocent fur peeking at her with the familiar eyes of the older she-cat. Why would Jaysong hide such a thing from her?

Without giving any kind of answer to the clear question asked through her clanmate’s eyes and expressions, Blizzardstar took some steps towards the kit with ears high. Her gaze was gentle and motherly, just like when she looked at any kit, but her mind was racing with questions, questions that she knew would probably left unanswered until the time the cats with starry pelts dwelling in the Silver Pelt came to take her from her beloved forest “Hello there. Mind if I ask your name, little kit? Mine’s Blizzardstar”.

Lichenfang tried to think of something but she just didn't know how to answer the leader's question. She still wasn't sure herself why their former clanmates now residing in the stars would not tell the leader.

Frost blinked as the fluffy leader came closer. Her wide olive green eyes holding curiosity and nervousness. She took notice of the she cat's gentle gaze and her nervousness faded a bit. She took another step towards Blizzardstar as she heard her name."my name's Frost"She mewed with an eager smile,with her ears pricked and her striped tail now standing straight up in the air.

Leopardclaw let out a quiet sigh of relief; Blizzardstar seemed to be curious, but accepting of Frost so far.  With a calm smile, Leopardclaw sat down next to Lichenfang and watched as they talked, not having an answer for his leader's inquiry.  Jaysong had been very secretive about this kit; he didn't know for sure why she decided to give her away.
