Little Adventurer(need a patrol/cat to find her)

The little she kit probably shouldn't have wondered off without Soot but it seemed he had been busy and the small kitten was quite bored but curious. Having a dream or what she thought was a strange memory from when she was just a little bit young she had caught a name.Jaysong.  It made her curious cause she never heard such a strange name but she knew it associated with her mother she knew that much. Her green eyes so much like her mother's gaze as she moved through the wooded territory still growing from some sort of damage Frost didn't know of. She really hadn't figured how far she had wondered and she drew to a stop quickly and her gaze looked around confusion and a sense of helplessness started to seep in as she realized she didn't know where she was."h..hello!"came a sharp high pitched squeak from her maw as a bit of fear kicked in as well.

Leafstorm padded ahead of the patrol quietly, his head down. It was early and he was exhausted.
"How much further, Leopardclaw?" He mewed blearily, turning back to the Thunderclan deputy.

Lichenfang was with the patrol each pawsteps hesitant as she followed behind Leopardclaw and Leafstorm.  She paused briefly and stopped as she heard a high pitched squeak"hey did you two hear that?"She mewed.

The small kit let out another squeak as she though she heard voices.

Leopardclaw pushed his way through the bushes as he led the small patrol, weaving their way through ThunderClan territory, searching for prey.  Focused on his surroundings, it took a second for the tom to register that Leafstorm was speaking to him; looking a bit flustered for just a moment, the spotted tabby deputy smiled and purred in a mock-reprimanding tone; "We'd get there a lot faster if you stopped your whining!"  With a slight chuckle, he looked over his shoulder to where his mate Lichenfang followed at the back of the patrol, and noticed that she seemed to have heard something.  Slowing down, he fell back to walk beside her with pricked ears, serious eyes scanning the undergrowth for the source of this strange noise she had heard.  And....there it was!  It sounded like....a squeak....a kit's squeak!  Previously Leopardclaw would've instantly ran to the young cat's aid, but after recent events he felt the need to be a little more cautious.  Instead, he turned and nodded to the calico she-cat; "I hear it too," before gazing questioningly at Leafstorm; "Shall we all check it out?"

Frost's gaze moved around as she wondered lost in the unknown territory but it also didn't help that she was also wanting to try and find her mother. "H..hello?"She gave a s.all squeak like call fear pricked at her fur making it bristle and fluff up.

Lichenfang looked to her mate before Leafstorm"I want to check it out"She mewed. There were obvious reasons why too it was that motherly instinct that made her want to go to the kits aid without a second thought. Her paws shuffled back and forth slowly. It was when she could take the wait anything longer she dove through the Bush to find the kit.

Leafstorm padded forward, his eyes wide.
He had taken care of two sets of litters singlehandedly, and he felt the need to protect whatever had made that sound.

Frost stopped scared fur fluffed and curled her small tail around her. She jumped when she heard pawsteps coming her way eyes wide and fearful.

Lichenfang came through the Bush and stepped seeing the small kit"Leopardfang...Leafstorm I found the kit"She mewed over her shoulder gentle eyes looking to the small kitten.

"Lichenfang wait!"  He watched with a gasp as his mate dashed away into the bushes, her pale calico tail streaming behind her.  The memory of the Mist snatching away his children still very fresh in his mind, Leopardclaw instantly dashed down the same path that she had taken, determined to not loose sight of her.  Checking behind him once to see if Leafstorm was following them, the golden spotted tom skidded to a halt beside Lichenfang when she stopped, his heart beating fast.  Pressing against her side for comfort, he finally caught sight of the source of the noises; a small gray tabby, brown, and white kitten, who was clearly very scared.  It wasn't the sight of yet another lost kitten that startled him so badly though...he recognized this kit.  Thunderstruck, Leopardclaw whipped his head around and met his mate's gaze; "It...it's Jaysong's!  Jaysong's kit..."  Bending down, the deputy sniffed the she-kit tentatively, his eyes narrowing.  "What is she doing here?"

Lichenfang was quiet for the longest moment. She wanted to approach the she kit but she so wanted to go the kit but something seemed familiar about the kitten she just couldn't remember. Though she paused letting Leopardclaw lean against herflank but then look to the kit. She saw his expression and then his words hit her."jaysong....how....i thought she went missing or worse...."She said her voice falling quiet.

Frost looked at the cats and started to back up but then She paused hearing the name. The name ingrained in her memory that she remembered as her mother."y...you know my mom"She said still fearful that it came out as a squeak

Leafstorm approached the kit, his ears perked. "Jaysong's... How do you know?"
But he had to admit that she looked like an exact replica of the late warrior, although she acted as if she'd never spent a day of her life away from the comforts of Twolegplace.

He sighed. "Blizzardstar's not going to let us keep her."
The tom wrapped his tail around his paws. Even though every instinct he had was screaming at him to take this kit somewhere safe, they had no way of knowing who this kit's real parents were.

And even if she was Jaysong's kit, what were they supposed to do about it?
They couldn't waltz into Thunderclan Camp with a kit and expect a positive response.
Could they?

Frost became distressed"how do you know my mom....i don't remember much about her I just remember her name how do you know her"She squeaked

Leopardclaw nodded forlornly, gazing down at the small she-kit with a sorrowful gaze. "Yes, this is her kit. It's a long story...but what's important right now if that we get her to safety." Turning towards Leafstorm, his eyes narrowed a bit. "They kept me and Lichenfang, didn't they? Blizzardstar would never turn away a kit when she knew that it's family is...gone." With a sign, he bent down to meet eyes with the kit, keeping his voice to a calm tone. "Yes little one, we knew your mother. Can you tell us your name?"
