Sharpkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardstar leaped onto the Highrock, ready for another ceremony “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Sharpkit padded out of the nursery excitedly.
Boarpaw was an apprentice already, and she had a feeling that today it was her turn. After all, she was the oldest, and the fact that Boarpaw left the nursery first still puzzled her.

Boarpaw bounded to his sister as soon as he saw her. He was glad he will soon be having his sister in the new den with him. He had caught the word today was a very special day for Sharpkit."Hey Sharpkit! Still hoping they'd let you join the great Boarstar in his den?" he teased her, settled down next to her with a grin.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on "Sharpkit, please, step forward”.

Sharpkit's eyes shone with pride as she took a step forward, shooting a grin at Boarpaw excitedly.

Blizzardstar smiled at the kit before talking again “Sharpkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Sharp-paw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Leopardclaw. I hope he passes down all he knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.

Leopardclaw nodded up at Blizzardshine with a smile before stepping forward, greeting Sharppaw with a friendly smile. Bowing his head, he touched noses with his new apprentice before stepping back, a slight purr in his voice as he meowed; "We'll start training tomorrow, I expect you're ready?" With a slightly quizzical glance, the spotted golden deputy joined in with the rest of the clan, cheering her new name.
