Owlkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardstar leaped onto the Highrock, ready for another ceremony “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Owlkit heard the call and with her thick fluffy fur groomed as must as possible. Scampering from the den the tabby she cat whom was just a tad bit bigger then other kits held her head high as she sat down.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on "Owlkit, please, step forward”.

Owlkit lifted her head and padded forward quietly.

Blizzardstar smiled at the kit before talking again “Owlkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Owlpaw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Lichenfang. I hope she passes down all she knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.

Lichenfang blinked and tensed ever so slightly before the warrior forced herself to relax. She wasn't expecting to get an apprentice. In fact she was a tad bit frightful of it considering her last apprentice Sunpaw had been taken from the mist. She only hoped it didn't happen again. Forcing herself to her paws she made her way over to her new apprentice Owlpaw and touched noses with her"training...starts tommorrow bright and early "She mewed.
