Day's light shines on the Wild side

At Roaringpaw's stern mew, she dropped her head and followed him. She was hoping to finish this battle before anyone noticed, but it seemed that it was too late.

Daykit followed behind quietly, his mind racing. He shot a couple of glares at Wildkit. This wasn't over. The tom had a feeling that it would never be over.

Wildkit felt the glare burn into the side of her head. It's not my fault! You interrupted me! You mousebrain!

Lilackit bounded out of the shadows, glaring at both her siblings with an intensity she had never directed at anyone. "We aren't supposed to fight, you two! What did you think you were doing back there?! And... And you're my sister. And my brother. Why are you fighting like this?" she asked, the anger fading from her voice and replaced with sadness. She wasn't about to panic now, there would be time later, but she was certainly upset with them both. Siblings were supposed to protect one another, right?

Daykit sat against the medicine cat den wall, looking away from everyone involved. He grunted in reply, flicking his tail at Wildkit. He glared into the wall, trying to set it ablaze with his vision. He was too angry to speak.

Lilackit's voice registered in her mind, and she immediately felt regret. Not for the battle, but for the sadness she had caused in her sister. Daykit was all behind this, and he would pay.
