A little fun? (Open)

Emberkit followed his lead, checking bushes and tall grass for scents. She gasped when she scented someone, ready to call out to Swiftkit, but stopped. This scent was different than windclan. She looked up and stumbled backwards, she had found a border! She whirled around and ran a good distance away from the border to try to find Swiftkit.

Swirlkit was sniffing at a tree when he heard rustling. He spun around and saw Emberkit running towards him. "Emberkit did you find something?" He asked her.

"Only the border!"She exclaimed still a little frightened from the idea."I'm just lucky a patrol didn't catch me!"She sat down panting, "What did you find?"

"No, no luck from me..." He suddenly stopped. "A border?" He asked wide eyed. "Did you detect any familiar scents since our clan patrols the borders?" He asked the other kit. He then cocked his head to the side as if trying to think.

"Oh well..no," Why was she always so clueless? Get a hold of yourself! she thought, "but I was sort of terrified at the time. You could probably find a scent." She stated, she shifted her paws, embarrassed.

"It's okay. It is very dangerous to go near borders. I'll follow you to where you found the border." Swiftkit purred and licked her ear as to say she's alright.

Emberkit purred, grateful for her clanmate's support. She bounded off, with renewed energy. She stepped around the last hedge of gorse and sniffed the forest aroma.
"Here we are!" She whispered.

He stepped forward and sniffed as hard as he could. He could detect the aroma of foreign cats but he could make out a trace of thier warriors. His eyes lit up. "Come on! This way!" He purred out. He walked along the border to try and detect the strongest trace of windclan warriors.

Emberkit was surprised at his confidence in knowing the way. She trailed after him, but more cautiously. She was amazed at how dense the forest was, bramble thickets everywhere you look.
"I wouldn't want to live in there!"She exclaimed, "I don't know how cats can stay there!"

Swiftkit looked back once he heard Emberkit's voice. "Yeah! It's very clustered here." He shook some twigs off his fur and proceeded to follow the faint scent. "Umm...Emberkit?" He shyly asked the she-cat without looking at her.

"Yeah?"Emberkit asked in her cheery voice, oblivious to Swiftkit's tone.

He tried to voice his thought but he was to embarressed to. "N-Nevermind...it's nothing." He said softly. He kept going and didn't say a word all the while. They eventually made it to a clearing where the path to the camp was in sight. "Emberkit! We're close to home!" Swiftkit exclaimed excitedly.

"Yay!" Emberkit said, trying to hide her concern. What was Swiftkit going
to say? She was so engrossed in her thoughts that they were inside camp before she knew it.

Swiftkit went straight for the nursery, swiftly and unnoticed. He looked behind him to see in Emberkit was following and jumped onto the bedding. He lied down and curled up wanting so badly to get rest. He was tired out.
