Bubblekit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather under the tallbranch for a clan meeting!" Rippedsky yowled as soon as he leaped onto the branch. He smiled down at the clearing once more as he prepared for another ceremony. Soon, another one of his children would be an apprentice.

Bubblekit bounded up to her father and looked up at him.

"Bubblekit, please step forwards." He nodded encouragingly as she joined the group. The black and white tom had considered for a while who to give his daughter to. After much thought, he had finally settled on someone. Once that cat joined the group, along with other clanmates gathering, the deputy continued, "Today, we gather to make another kit an apprentice. Bubblekit has reached the age of six moons and it now ready to begin her training. From this day until you gain your warrior name, you will be known as Bubblepaw. Poppysong will mentor you. I expect she will pass on all she knows to you." With that, he leaped down to congratulate his daughter briefly.

Bubblepaw exploded with happiness. She had made it this far now she had to make it until she was really old. She nuzzled her father and thanked him for doing her ceremony.
