A Snake's Adventure

Snakepaw sat near the apprentices' den, washing herself. It was a rather boring day for the young apprentice. Having just become an apprentice recently, the excitment of it still surged withing her and she longed to do some training. However, her mentor was out and she knew she wasn't allowed out of camp without a warior. Thus, she was doomed to boredom. Until a leaf drifted downwards from a tree. Snakepaw eyed it through narrowed slits, focusing on her "prey". However, before she could pounce on it, she heard a cat near her.

Falconpaw glanced around after giving a deep discontented sigh, he push away the mouse he had merely bitten once and laid his head on his paw with his eyes closed. The skinny tom still lacked motivation to eat, something he never needed to hide, no one cared about it and never asked. The blue abyssinian shifted slightly, opening an eye to see what Snakepaw was doing and giving a forced chuckle when he saw she was stalking a leaf.

Snakepaw gave Falconpaw a smile, but made no real move to approach him. The she-cat was typically not very social and didn't approach cats unless she had a good reason to do so. Thus, she just nodded and focused on her leaf once more.
