Softly Blurry

Blurrypaw padded along the banks of the river, his fur fluffed out by the wind. He didn't look his best, he admitted it, but he didn't expect he would run into anyone else. The masked tom had never patrolled the river and he was excited to see what the territory looked around the rushing rapids. Blurrypaw knew that the river bordered RiverClan, but he couldn't remember the other clan, he ought to pay more attention during training.

The tom waltzed further along the river, happily watching the fish leap above the surface. As he realised he was alone, Blurrypaw decided this was the perfect time to get his priorities straight. He wanted to unite the clans, of course he would lead them, but he realised that to achieve this he'd need some form of help. Other cats that shared in his belief, but he'd have to convince them first, Blurrypaw doubted they would do it with their own free will. Maybe while he was out he could meet another cat to convince.

That was when he remembered Softpaw and that today was the day he had agreed to meet her. The odds were in his favour today!

The tom bounded towards the RiverClan, border it was obvious he was excited, but he hoped no other cats would notice him. "Softpaw, Softpaw? Are you here? It's me, Blurrypaw!" he called out his tail swishing excitedly. Blurrypaw was bursting to see her again, but for all the wrong reasons.

The soft furred gray and silver she cat had looked around her soft blue gaze taking in her territory. She came and settled down to rest hidden near a clump of reeds near the river. That was when she heard a voice call to her although excited she knew who it was,Blurrypaw. She blinked and smiled some making herself visible. She looked to Blurrypaw "hey"she mewed softly.

Blurrypaw's smile widened. This day was perfect. "Hey, Softpaw. Long time, no see, huh." he purred his eyes darting to the fish in the river. His stomach growled loudly and he let out a chuckle. "Does fish taste good? I'm starving!" Blurrypaw asked edging closer to the banks of the river.
