Hollypaw's Warrior Ceremony

Crowstar called out to his clan. "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!"

Hollypaw joined the gathering clan beneath Crowstar. Her blue eyes shone brightly and her pelt was well groomed. She couldn't believe her ceramony had come so soon!

"The time has come for an apprentice to join the ranks of a warrior." Crowstar said. "Hollypaw please step forward."

Hollypaw stepped forward, her eyes shining brightly. A sudden sadness swept over her as she realised none of her family would see this day. Today had no place for them thoughts, so she pushed them away and smiled up at Crowstar.

"I, Crowstar, leader of SkyClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She had trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as warriors in their turn. Hollypaw do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Crowstar asked.

Hollypaw nodded. "I do." she meowed her eyes shining with pride.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I grant you your warrior name. Hollypaw, from this day forwards, you will be known as Hollyshard. StarClan honors your determination and cleverness, and welcome you as a full warrior of SkyClan." Crowstar said then jumped down to greet his new warrior.

Hollyshard purred, she loved her warrior name. Joyously she touched noses with Crowstar.
