| The bundle of gray-and-white that came streaking out of the nursery immediately after the call went by the name of nothing other than Nettlekit.
Well, soon-to-be Nettlepaw. She thought, with excitement glittering in her amber eyes. Nettlekit saw becoming an apprentice as a chance to prove yourself, and she had repeatedly told herself in the nursery before the meeting had been called to not make a complete fool of herself. | Ashstar nodded approvingly at the young kit. Her grandkit. The eagerness in her eyes warmed her heart and gave her hope for WindClan. "Nettlekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Nettlepaw.
