Just a Scratch [OPEN]

All she could feel was pain.

Twistedtail gasped as she dragged herself into camp, a trail of blood behind her. The dog was vicious, even more so than the small dogs that twolegs had. She could remember clearly the crunch as it bit down on her sensitive tail. it holding her down with a large paw on her throat, other ripping her back to shreds. It screamed with pain, every inch of fur for a large portion of her spine covered in blood. Heatherpaw managed to drag her away, but she ended up having to get back to camp without assistance as she ran out of stamina. Her kit disappointed her; as she fought the dog Heatherpaw simply ran away, only coming back when the dog started to thrash her. The anger and the pain made it almost impossible to form a clear thought in her head, and the edges of her vision was black.
As another trail of blood traced her thigh, she collapsed in the center of camp. Panting and splayed in an awkward position, she assessed her wounds. She could make out many deep slashes across her back under all the blood, and her tail had bloody indentions in the shape of the dog's teeth. Groaning, she gritted her teeth as another wave of pain washed over her. Someone... is Beetlepaw here? she faintly thought as she rapidly gulped in air.

Heatherpaw had tried her best to help her mother to camp. Though she felt horrible she didn't even know how to fight to even stood the dog from harming her mother and she had ran fear had taken over. The apprentice had her wars flat as she had come into the camp after her mother. She didn't say anything yet.

Mossfoot could smell blood.
It was a peculiar scent, she noted. Metallic and sharp, the smell of war and death and everything wrong in the world. But there was something else there, something more familiar - her daughter.
"Twistedtail!' she yowled, pushing through the crowd of cats. She was the most important thing in the world to her. She wouldn't die. She couldn't die. She was no medicine cat, though it had been her childhood aspiration, but she was not letting her daughter die. "Oh, my poor little thing, what happened, love? Are you alright? Where's Beetlepaw? W-Where does it hurt? Oh, my daughter...." She glanced around, looking frantically for the medicine cat as she tried to restrain her tears.
