A Mother Daughter Duo [Open]

Raccoonfang didn't know why she took on the task of taking care of a kit, but as soon as she laid eyes on the kit, she knew it was hers. The kit's appearance didn't really match hers, but she loved small Cheetahkit all the same. The warrior queen, padded into the nursery looking for her kit that she had taken over the role of parenting for. "Cheetahkit, do you want to come outside the nursery today?" She asked spying the familiar and unique pelt of her kit.

The savannah kitten blinked open her little Amber eyes her pame golden pelt littered with Black spots stirred and she looked to her adopted mother"ooo yes!"she squeaked slightly and got to her paws. She was slightly taller then the average kit her she but not by much. With a smile she scampered limbly over her war flicked.

Raccoonfang smiled, and ducked out of the den allowing Cheetahkit to walk out into the open of the camp. While the clan already knew her adopted daughter she still wanted to introduce her kit to them. Espically to her father Mottleheart. He would be so proud to see his granddaughter. The brown she-cat looked back at her kit. "So what do you think?" She wanted to know the kit's first reaction.

Cheetahkit smiled some and looked up at her mother before she looked around quietly. She blinked before her small Amber eyes widened"it's so open...and big"she mewed giving a slight squeak.

[color:b8f0=indianred\]"It's even bigger and more open outside the camp, but thats for when you become an apprentice my dear." The warrior queen said to her kit. She looked around to see if anything was going to cause issue to her kit, but she didn't see anything. Her daughter was free to explore within reason and meet other cats of the clan.

Mottleheart took a step from the warrior's den with a yawn, smiling briefly when a familiar scent hit the roof his mouth. It didn't take long to scan the camp and see a pelt near mirror of his - his daughter. It warmed his heart to see her so grown-up and he had been very surprised when she had decided to care for the young kit but he didn't mind. With Raccoonfang acting as a mother to the kit, he was sure the kit was going to be raised a fine warrior. He padded across the camp on hurried paws, dipping his head to his daughter and adopted granddaughter...Oh that was an odd thought. He felt way to young to already be a grandfather... "Hello," he purred in greetings to the two, keeping his voice soft and warm as he took notice of how timid the young Cheetahkit seemed. Of course, the first time out of the nursery was shocking for everybody with how big the camp was in comparison.

The pale Savannah kitten blinked slowly. Once she wasn't too timid her gaze focused on Mottledheart. She glanced up to her mother before the somewhat tall kit blinked and returned her gaze to her adopted grandfather"hi.."she mewed before finally responding to her mother"I can't wait to be an apprentice"she mewed.
