The Snow's arrival(open night needed)

Snow dangled by her scruff as she was carried by her mother a dark furred she cat who had no interest in keeping Snow. She padded through Thunderclan territory deciding to leave her in where her family had originated from. Thunderclan. The fur ball she held was fast asleep and just what the queen needed. She set the kit down in the open. Either a patrol would find her or a fox would it didnt matter to her.

A few minutes later Snow felt the lack of warmth of both her siblings and mother. Eyes snapping open she realized she was alone. Fear seeped into the small she kit and she started to mewl loudly

Blizzardshine padded through the forest, her paws slightly wet and stained thanks to the melting snow and cold muddy soil announcing the approaching Newleaf. For the long haired she-cat this has been just another day spent dong her daily routine as a deputy, going with patrol to check the territory and probably mark the borders or hunt something if the time was enough to allow such activities.

The reason of their approach to the area where Snow was left behind by her mother being the faint scent of rogue that the breeze carried. She had no real trouble with rogues and was proud to even have some in her list of friends, but if one was around she would need to make them leave and deep inside she hoped this would be a peaceful encounter and not a fight.

The loud meows were more than enough to cause Blizzardshine’s relaxed attitude to shatter and start running towards the source of the sound. Her soft spot for kits wasn’t something unknown to the rest of the clan, so her rush to reach the owner of such fear-filled meows was something to be expected from her, it was something she simply couldn’t ignore or act cool around. It didn’t took her too long to reach the open area where the kit was, stopping her hurried approach a couple of fox-lights away from her, and though a warm feeling of relief washed over her when she noticed that the young she-cat was healthy and no evident threats were close she couldn’t help but feel slightly nervous and look around with clear anxiety in her eyes. Where was the mother of the kit? It was clearly too young to be there by herself.

“Hey there, are you lost? Can we help you somehow?” She wasn’t sure if the kit was old enough to speak yet, but it was worth a try. Her voice was calm and gentle, holding a comforting tone in an attempt to not look like a threat and help the kit to relax, approaching her slowly. Leafbare could be soon to ending, but it was certainly still too cold for a kit to survive long without shelter and the warmth of a mother, they had to act fast.

Tiny eyes had started to fill with tears as the fear of being alone started to really seep in. Though that wasn't the tiny white kitten ,with one dark gray patch over her golden eye and her dark grey stub of a tail, only problem. Though with it being close to new leaf the winter breeze was still chilling. Each breeze that blew went through the tiny kitten freezing her right down to the bone. She had eventually curled herself up a bit as if to keep the wind from affecting her too much but with very thin fur it didn't do much. Gold and blue eyes filled with tears t that slipped down her face. It took a little bit for her small pathetic cries escaped her at this point. She was cold,hungry and very very afraid. It was even more so when she heard the patter of paws against the wet earth her tiny eyes only got wide with fear. As the fluffy she cat had come to the clearing she cringed a bit making herself even more tinnier then what she seemed. As she was spoken to she didn't know what to do scared and cold she couldn't bring herself to speak at the moment her tiny body went into a violet fit of shaking as the cold really set into her."w..where mommy"came her tiny tiny voice.

The blue gray tabby she cat was on the patrol with the Deputy. They had been following a scent when a loud fear filled cry filled the area and the next thing Jaysong knew Blizzardshine was gone. She quickly followed her scent and paused staying back as she seen the kit.

Goosepaw was also on the patrol with deputy of the ThunderClan- Blizzardshine. She get on this patrol only for reason to be improved on her path to the warrior, but something even more exciting happened. They found a kit. Young kit, without a mother. Goosepaw strangley looked Deputy when he talked to the kit and then waited if kit would answered. On her opinion, kit was to young for speaking.

Blizzardshine noticed the kit’s cold, getting closer to her, sitting at her side and using her fluffy tail to shield her from the cold air surrounding her. It was only a temporary solution and she knew it, but she couldn’t just grab the kit and run off to camp when her mother could be around. Yes, the fact that she was on the open and without any kind of shelter was kind of suspicious, as no queen would leave their kits in a place like this unless they were trying to get rid of them, idea that simply couldn’t fully sink in the kind hearted deputy’s mind. Her eyes quickly fell on the cats of the patrol that were with her “Can you please look around for any signs of this kit’s mother? We are running out of time” She meowed at them, not wanting to take any chances. She would feel awful if her own kit was stolen by another cat, but if there was simply no sign of the mother soon they would need to take her to camp so she wouldn’t catch kittencough…or worse. She was willing to return her if the mother asked her to in case of the later, but if that happened she would have a couple of really serious words with her "What's your name, little one?".

Snow was trying to stop shivering but that wasn't happening. When the deputy came and sat next to her surrounding her with her tail the chill vanished temporarily but not by much. Her two colored eyes looked up at Blizzardshine. She then closed her eyes for a moment before she spoke up voice tiny and quiet. "M..my name is snow"

Jaysong blinked then nodded and searched for a trail she could follow. The grayish blue tabby looked around. She couldn't find a trace. She then paused looking around before she found a trail but it was faint and growing fainter by the second."I found...a scent trail but it's very faint"she mewed.

Snow remained quiet as she moved closer to Blizzardshine nuzzling into her tail quietly. She closed her eyes trying to keep her warmth.

When the deputy ordered to find the trails, Goosepaw immediately started to sniffed around kit´s area. It was hard because of weather, but she managed to smell some things. Before she could smelled something important, Jaysong found the trail first. She stoped her seeking and came closer and smelled. Like Jaysong said, there was a trial. But trial was very faint.

Blizzardshine sighed deeply with the news, she could feel the kit trying to keep herself warm and with the sun going down soon she was left with no other option…not that she really cared though, as she was willing to take it from the moment she found Snow “If you don’t mind, I’ll ask you to come to this area tomorrow again and make sure that the queen didn’t came back to look for her kit” Her eyes landed on the cats that came with her as she gave the instructions “We are going back to camp, the sun will go down soon and it won't be safe for any of us to stay here when that happens” She was barely finishing the last words when she got up, turned around and gently picked up Snow by the scruff.

Snow…Snowkit…yes, your name shall be Snowkit from now on With those thoughts in her head, she started to walk back to camp with her newly adopted kitten.

Goosepaw noded and happily looked poor kit which was picked by a Blizzardshine. Probably would deputy adopted this kit, were apprentice thoughts. Tommorow she would came back here, but on her opinion the queen which leaved this kit, won´t come back. "Kit now belongs to ThunderClan. One more warrior." Were also Goosepaw silent thoughts. Coming back to the camp and looking into the kit, which was expressing so many emotins, this was an interesting trip. Goosepaw was happy that she had come on this patrol.
