The Thistle on a Gust of Wind ((CLOSED))

Thistlefall sat at the edge of camp, a few paces away from the entrance. He had recently gotten another apprentice, Gustpaw, the daughter of his adopted father. He was excited to be able to train his sister, even if they weren't blood related, so he looked forward to today.

OOC: I've been grounded, sorry for being late :/

Gustpaw saw her adoptive brother, Thistlefall, sitting by the entrance of camp, and she realized that today would be her first day of training. Running up to him cheerfully, she sat quickly beside him, drawing a paw over her ear quickly."Are we training today?" With a calm, soft voice, she looked expectantly up to Thistlefall.

Thistlefall turned to face Gustpaw upon hearing the apprentices light paw steps. "Indeed we are." He replied with a smile, "let's get going then," he mewed and turned to head out into the territory.

Thistlefall smiled, leading the apprentice to a well known sandy dip in their territory. He paused, turning to face her, "what would you like to focus on? Hunting? Battling?" He asked, wanting to know what she wanted to do.

"Oh, uh, battling, I guess." Stopping beside Thistlefall, she looked at him expectantly.

Thistlefall nodded, "sounds good," he paused, backing up slightly. "We'll start easy, dodge my attack." Then the moment he closed his mouth the warrior sprang forward, targeting Gustpaw. If she didn't get out of the way in time, it would be easy for him to step to the side.

When Thistlefall leaped, Gustpaw sat in horror, not knowing what to do. When it hit her, she tried to back up, but to her dismay. She only helped him reach her quicker, so she crouched down, squinting her eyes. She had no doubt that Thistlefall would land on her, and it felt as if time was slowing down.
