Amberpaw's Assessment [closed]

Waspstep sat at the entrance of SHadowclan camp waiting on his apprentice to join him. It was time for an assessment.

Amberpaw padded over to her mentor despite everything that happened recently she tried to keep positive. After all she assumed it was her assessment she would be doing today but she won't hold her breathe. Padding over to Waspstep she mewed"hi what are we doing today?"she mewed.

"We are doing your assessment today Amberpaw. I want you to go out and catch three pieces of prey and meet me back at the entrance of camp." The brown warrior said. "Remember I will be watching you."

Amberpaw nodded her head in response and padded off into the territory determined to pass her assessment.

Ooc are we doing the battle encounters as well just wanted to check and make sure before I start.

ooc: No don't worry about battle encounters, I'm not quite sure how the hunting system works so don't worry about it for now.

Waspstep followed the apprentice out into the territory silently.

Alright so just use the hunting system to catch the prey and not worry about the battle encounters alright))

Ic: Once out into the territory the black furred she cat sniffed the air eager to pass her assessment. She calmed herself and followed the first scent of prey she caught.

Waspstep followed after his apprentice, his brown eyes observing her intently.

Amberpaw stood for a moment testing the air for the scent of prey,her ears were perked as well as she listened. She then caught the scent of badger and she stopped and decided to advoid it. Silently she padded in the opposite direction when she caught the scent of road and followed it. She spotted it and her light amber eyes narrowed as she leapt to catch it missing it She let out a small huff before she scented the air catching the scent of frog. So following it She followed the smell to where she saw the green slimy prey sitting oblivious. She leapt catching the slimy frog killing it easily before she scented the air again

Waspstep followed his apprentice observing as she caught a frog but missed one before the frog. If she kept up a good streak she would be done in no time. The warrior had faith in her.

Amberpaw smiled some and briefly she his the frog to come back for before she lifted her nose to the air,her maw slightly parted and ears perked forward as she listened intently. She had caught the scent of a lizard and she quickly followed it. The reptile wasn't too far away and she gave chase with a flick of her tail. The black she cat caught the lizard easily between her jaws. She killed it and hid it with the frog she had caught. She only needed to catch one more price of prey so she sniffed the air and caught the scent of toad. So she followed it to the source she crouched and leapt pouncing on the amphibian killing it and she paused just catching another scent So she debating going after it or not and decided to it was the scent of another frog and she continued to follow it. She spotted the lonely frog and caught it killing it before she took it and went back to fetch the other three prices of prey. After she gathered it She waited before going to the camp entrance where she was to meet with her mentor.



Edit: just read on the new hunting 2.0 so I'll be using the 1st rolls on the 3 dices that have 2 rolls each.
