Lilykit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowstar called out to his clan. "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!"

ooc: Which one of you losers don't have an apprentice?

Lilykit, Crowstars daughter leaped from them nursery, her paws frantically skittering to a stop before the meeting tree.. thing. Blue eyes bright as she looked up at her father with excitement, she couldn't believe it, she was being made an apprentice!

Leafstream sat down with crowd and yawned. Another ceremony?! SkyClan is definentily growing.

"Lilykit please come forward." The black leader called to his daughter.

Lilykit practically bounced forwards, fluffy fur swishing after her as she did so. Her maw stretching into a grin as she looked up at her father.

Occ: Eagleheart and Rippedsky are free

At the leader's call, Rippedsky padded out into the clearing and waited for the clan to gather.

Eagleheart sat down scanning the crowd for Adderpaw or Hollypaw.

OOC: Moonlight is free as well

Moonlight padded towards the gathering crowd, smiling as she realized this was another apprentice ceremony. These were one of her favorite kinds of meetings.

Crowstar looked down at his daughter. Hopefully he won't mess up with her like he did with Breezewhisker and Tinylegs.. thought he didn't know what he did wrong.

"Lilykit from this moment on you will be known as Lilypaw, your mentor will be Eagleheart." The gray fluffy leader said.

Eagleheart stood proudly as the clan leader announced his name. Finally! He thought to himself. The warrior had waited moons to have an apprentice of his own. While he had been disappointed to see his kit become the apprentice of another warrior, he was grateful that Crowstar trusted him enough to train the leader's daughter. He couldn't wait to show her the territory and show her how to battle properly. Excitement coursed through him, but he kept it contained as he padded over to the young she-cat.

"I can't wait to start your training. Congratulations, Lilypaw," He meowed deeply and he bent to touch noses with her. The warrior felt huge next to the small kit. Responsibility flooded over him, much like it had with his own kits not long ago. In that moment, he vowed to train her up as well as he had wanted for his own kin.
