Blizzardkit sighed as she lifted her head and glanced toward the camp entrance. She wanted to become an apprentice now, rather than sit in the nursery and sulk it all up. Greygaze had quickly returned to the Warrior den, leaving other queens to look after her. Something's wrong with Greygaze, she isn't usual! Yes, her Mother flinched every time at the sight of Sleetfang, perhaps they're having a quarrel? She sighed again, this time pretending. She poked one of the kits on her left, wondering if the kit wanted to play.

Blossomkit peered over at Blizzardkit. Cautiously, she slipped out of the nest, unwilling to wake her siblings or mother.
"Psst. Wanna go play outside?" She asked. Her head turned to survey her sleeping kin and the other queens nearby. Her voice dropped to a discreet whisper. "Maybe we can go explore one of the other dens. I'm tired of being cooped up in here."

Vixenkit grunted, rolling over in the nest, a small one she could call her own. She took a moment for her eyes to focus and the dreariness to fade as she looked over at Blossomkit and Blizzardkit, "Ugh, could you two be any louder?" Her words were a sharp hiss, exaggerating the truth. They weren't really that loud, but she wanted something to blame her early awakening on.
