Snowstorm stepped out of the den. She looked at the injured apprentices. The scent of herbs and SkyClan flooded them. She had to concentrate hard to scent what attacked them, then she finally detected ShadowClan. There was a feeling in her neck, a painful, bitter feeling, like she tried to swallow stale prey. "If they think we'll do nothing about this, they have bees in their brain. I should have known it was them, those mangy snake-eaters, siding with WindClan." she growled. She looked at Oceanlight. "I can help bring them into the den." she said. She was angry just thinking about them. First, they exile their best warriors for not thinking exactly as they do, then they allied with fox-hearted WindClan, then attack an apprentice? Sure her and the other dark forest rebels agreed to look past differences and work together, but how long ago was that? Moons? No, seasons? Fools. All of ShadowClan are fools.

She closed her eyes as she was carried by Webtail, and opened her eyes to Oceanlight's voice. She obediently licked up the herbs that were placed in front of her, gagging at the tangy flavor. She could feel a numbing sensation as the marigold pulp took effect, and sighed in relief. She felt herself becoming drowsy, and sake into a deep healing sleep.

Viperpaw looked down at her friend with pity, and soon, a spark of rage prickled along her pelt. "How dare they..." she whispered, crouching down a little ways away from the young she-cat. Tears stung her green eyes. "How dare they!?" Viperpaw's voice was soon raised to a growl, and she stared into the sky. Only a small bout of tears tided in her eyes, but her tone was still slightly mournful. Her eyes blazed. "Thrushstar needs to manage his clan," she snarled with fury.

OOC: Sorry for the interruption, but a few role playing rules have been broken here. No one should be referencing a WindClan-ShadowClan alliance because a) there has been no decision, b) the topic hasn't finished, c) the topics are going at about the same time, and d) SkyClan can't know of an alliance between two other clans unless those clans actually announce it to the public. It would not be common knowledge.

I'd also like to point out that have read through the topic where the fight took place and these injuries are grossly exaggerated. The only injury Pansypaw sustained was tripping in a hole and being hit in the face with a front paw blow; no claws means no blood, just perhaps a headache. Even if there were claws, it's a weak attack. Maybe a concussion if you're hellbent on incriminating Mudfoot. Rippedpaw was hit by a rear-up-to-slash in the face. He's the only one bleeding here.

occ: yeah I dunno how the alliance got thrown in there. But you don't need to get hit with claws to have blood (talking in a general injury sense). They are 2 apprentices that were attacked by a senior warrior... he does a lot of damage even with a weaker move. Literally one of his attacks could take an apprentice down almost instantly. Maybe a bit over exaggerated but yeah there was quite a bit of damage done. Sorry.

Rippedpaw nodded tiredly as cats spoke to him. His head ached and he felt exhausted.
"Thanks, Oceanlight," He meowed to the medicine cat gratefully. Cats were getting really worked up over this, but he was just glad that the pair of them were safe. What happened was still a little blurry to him. He didn't know why the other apprentice had been so close to the thunderpath or why Mudfoot had decided to attack her, but he wasn't going to bring that up now. For now, he let his eyes close and sunk down to the ground in the medicine cats den. Later he would face the clan.

Viperpaw, absent at the time of the incident, just simply wanted Pansypaw and Rippedpaw to recover from the - albeit minor - unprecedented attack. A phrase which here means, "an ambush from another clan". Viperpaw looked at Oceanlight, tail swaying. She dipped her head with gratitude, in utter, shocked silence. The long-furred apprentice then decided to leave the injured cats in peace, and so, the feline slipped out. She continued trotting, until she saw the others. The she-cat stopped, looking over her shoulder back at the den.
