Heroes Aren't Born They're Made(closed to those who signed up)

It was maybe early morning. Really like most of Shadowclan who were usually up and about at night, she wasn't and she knew a few weren't sleeping as well. For now she took the time to go through the territory just to have a relaxing walk. The white and cream she cat looked around with light amber eyes quietly as she padded through the territory alone.

The territory was so exciting! Poor Swiftpaw hadn't been able to sleep since his apprentice ceremony out of sheer excitement for what was going to come. He had heard that apprentices were allowed to go out into the territory, so now, here he was walking along the territory, looking around at all of the marshland and water that made up Shadowclan. It was so cool! Why hadn't he done this sooner?

Hollykit raced through the marsh,she knew she shouldn't be here,but her mother was close.She could feel it."Hurry up,Badgerkit!"she yowled to her younger brother."We're nearly there,I know it!Soon we'll be able to see Hazeflight.Father says I have her eyes,blue like ice.What about you ,Badgerkit,what did father say reminds him of Hazeflight?"she chatted.The Bengal she-cat paused for a moment,giving her tiny paw a swift lick,she scented the air.Yuck!It reeks!Hollykit recoiled as the damk musky scent of ShadowClan filled her nose.How can mother even stand this foul stench?I'm glad I stayed with father in SkyClan territory.She turned back round to face Badgerkit."Hurry up!You're slower than a kittypet who's wet!"she huffed with a slight laugh.

"Okay, okay!"Badgerkit panted as he chased after his sister. "Hmm I think i look more like Eagleheart." he replied thoughtfully. "Eww! That stench! I can't believe that our mum could live in there!" He quickly hid behind a tree as a ShadowClan cat came into view. "Hide! A ShadowClan apprentice up ahead!" he hissed before he hid.

Sunblaze woke up in the nursery finding that Hollykit and Badgerkit were gone. "Where did they go this time!" she yelled. As Leafstream's masculine body entered she replied. "Badgerkit and Hollykit. Their missing!"

Leafstream was outside until Sunblaze screamed. "What's wrong?" he looked around the nursery. "I don't think we should tell Eagleheart. He'll blame it on you."

Hazelpaw padded quietly into the territory but paused as she caught an unfamiliar scent. She padded closer to it curious though she also caught a fresh scent trail of a Shadowclan apprentice. She paused briefly.

Hollykit noticed the apprentice getting closer.She curtly nodded in agreement to what Badgerkit.It occurred to Hollykit that she was not thinking straight,normally she would of snapped at him.But she was worried with panic and so she remained silent.Hollykit blinked a couple of times searching for a good hiding place,unfortunately for her it lookedlike hiding with Badgerkit would be her best option.Nervously,she glanced around then darted to where Badgerkit was cowering."Stop cowering like a mouse.You're a cat of SkyClan,act like it!"she hissed in his ear.

Blazepaw was quietly patrolling the area, marking the borders and such, when she caught a faint whiff of Skyclan. They better not be crossing the borders!"Do you guys smell that? I think its Skyclan..." Trailing off her words, she scented the air again to pick up any scents.



OOC: We are supposed to wait until Hazel is dead to find her, correct?

Ooc yeah that's right just waiting for the Fox to be introduced so we can get started on that.

Ic: Amberpaw,who was with the patrol blinkedand she soon caught the scent as well"yeah I smell it too"she mewed.

Swiftpaw continued to search about the territory, taking in all of the sights and smells. There were so many different things around here that he never knew existed, and it really excited him. He truly couldn't wait to come out here with Mousefang. However, as he padded around, a new scent hit his nose. Sniffing hard, he tilted his head and began following it, stopping suddenly as he came across two kits walking around in his territory. "Kits?" he asked, looking at Badgerkit and Hollykit. "What are you two doing here?" It was purely out of curiosity. Not once did he feel any hostility towards them, especially since they both looked so young. "Are you okay?"

Hollykit jumped back in fright."I'm fine,"she snappedand what my brother and I are doing out here is none of your business.Now leave us alone,please."Hollykit nudged Badgerkit sharply indicating that they should probably make a run for it.The ShadowClan apprentice seemed nice enough,but she didn't want to take any chances.Hollykit leaned over and whispered in Badgerkit's ear"When I say run,run.Okay?"

OoC: Fox is coming! Oh and battle system or not?

IC: Badgerkit growled back and stopped cowering but he stayed silent and gave a tail flick in acknowledgment. He glared up at Swiftpaw.

Meanwhile a fox was lurking in the shadows near the swamps waiting to pounce on any cat that came nearby to protect it's cubs. She picked up a scent of cat.

Blazepaw continued in her patrol, but soon she scented trouble. She could tell there were young Skyclan cats, possibly even kits, and they shouldn't be out here. But that wasnt all she could smell, there was a faint hint of fox. Sniffing the air quietly, she wandered around the territory, searching for the intruder.

Ic Hazelpaw padded slowly over following Swiftpaw's scent. She came over and looked to them"kits....why are y'all here?"She mewed but paused for a moment her ear flicking.

Uh,oh.Not two Now what am I going to do?This is bad.Hollykit straightened herself up,glaring at the apprentices in front of her."Run!"yowled Hollykit as she turned and fled.The Bengal she-kit was sprinting as fast as she could,her legs were burning and her chest was heaving from the effort."C'mon,Badgerkit!"she gasped.Lesson learnt,never go along with Badgerkit's ideas.They'll all probably end in disaster like this one.she thought shooting a quick glare at Badgerkit.I'm going to tear your pelt off when we get back to camp,wait which way is camp...

As soon as the kits took off running, Swiftpaw was shocked. He wasn't that scary, was he? "H-Hey wait, kits!" he cried, watching them run. Tossing a worried glance in Hazelpaw's direction, he tried asking the older apprentice for help. "What do we do? We can't just leave them out here!" he mewed before a sudden unfamiliar scent struck his nose. Immediately, all of his attention turned towards this smell. He had never experienced anything like it and it sent chills down his spine. "Hey, do you smell that? What is it?" He asked, his eyes darting around the territory as he tried to locate its origins.
