Lightkit, Acornkit, and Oakkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!" the RiverClan leader yowled.

Thistleblaze walked out of the nursery with her kits.

Lightkit walked out of the nursery and sat in front of her mom, looking up at Fishstar with multi color eyes. She remained silent despite being excited.

Acornkit stumbled outside, following her sister eagerly and taking her place underneath the willow branch.

Oakkit padded out, her eyes glancing around the camp she constantly observed, ears flickering to each noise as she walked after her siblings. Body and face blank from any expression. Noticing this Oakkit turned to Lightkit, the more reserved one and quickly matched the quivering of her body and her reserved but no doubt expressive face. It was eerie how fast Oakkit was learning how to mimic her clanmates expressions, though she thought she was far more behind than they are, after all they seem to have no problem producing their expressions.

"Lightkit, Acornkit, and Oakkit," Fishstar called, "please step forward."

Lightkit looked back at her mom for a second before standing and stepping forward, and looking at Fishstar.

Acornkit jumped on the spot as if to say, 'Mummy look at me' before stepping forward to stand beside Lightkit.

Oakkit took a couple of paw steps forwards, eyes wide and tail quivering.

"You have reached the age of six moons," Fishstar went on, looking over the kits, "and are now ready to be apprenticed. From this day forth, until you receive your warrior names, you shall be known as Lightpaw, Acornpaw, and Oakpaw. Lightpaw, your mentor shall be Ivyfall. Acornpaw, your mentor shall be Petalbreeze. Oakpaw, your mentor shall be Smokeface. I trust that they will teach you all that they know."
