Driftkit and Treekit's Apprentice Ceremony

Most of the leaves had fallen now. The bare branches of the trees around camp whistled in the wind, bringing about an eerie vibe to the territory. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!"

Driftkit bounded out of the nursery.could this be it?Could this be her apprentice ceremony?!She'd waited so long and this could finally be it.The fluffy she dwarfed all the other kits and now could be the time she left the crammed nursery.She looked up at Darkstar her amber eyes glowing and heart beating fast.Was this her apprentice ceremony?

Treekit padded out of the nursery excitedly. The tom had never seen a Clan meeting which met he had no idea what would happen. He had only heard calls but never really knew what they were exactly for. All he had heard was that kits weren't allowed to attend ceremonies, but he knew he was old enough so why not give it a try?

Both of them were here, good. Darkstar raised her head slightly, and if someone looked closely enough, they could see a twinkle of excitement back in the leader's eyes. "Driftkit and Treekit, please step forward."

It was!It was her apprentice ceremony!Driftkit wanted to explode with excitement.She was leaving the nursery she would be back with Littlepaw and her sister Sedgekit!Gingerly Driftkit stepped forward her tail held high the amount of excitement seemed to completely drive away her usaul shyness.Well for this moment.

Treekit stepped forward, his tail was slowly moving behind him. His face showed nothing, but his eyes showed excitement and surprise if you looked close enough. He couldn't believe it. His ceremony? How would his mentor be?

"Driftkit and Treekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior names, you shall be known as Driftpaw and Treepaw. Your mentors will be Stormstrike and Sheepnose, respectively. I know they will train you well." She gave one last bit of a smile down to the new apprentices before she leaped down to end the ceremony.

Treepaw touched his nose to his mentors, Sheepnose.

OOC:It would of been funny if Driftpaw was with Sheepnose not Stormstrike.

Driftkit smiled as she was given her apprentice name.The She-cat soon found her mentor and touched noses with him.Driftpaw looked at Treeppaw slightly jealous her mother was his mentor.Yet none of this mattered anymore,she was now an apprentice!
