Brindlepaw purred in amusement at Twistedkit's response, watching Twistedkit and Sprucekit tease each other as she settled down beside Spottedpaw. Brindlepaw lifted one of her forepaws and used it to scrub her ears as she watched her den-mate tease Sprucekit. After a few moments of watching the kits, Brindlepaw gazed around the busy camp and spotted Thistlepaw - an older apprentice - who seemed to be watching the squabbling kits as well.

Rippedpaw purred at the thought of his new name, but he wasn't jumping around quite as much as the other new apprentice. He hoped that Robinpaw didn't also have disdain for him. The new apprentice hoped to make more friends rather than enemies as he moved up in the clan.

Sprucekit shot both of the she-cats a glare then turned his gaze back to Spottedpaw."Yeah,well it won't be long till I'll be apprenticed.So don't get your hopes up that your way older and bigger than me,cos' your not!"He said playfully but slightly serious.The tom glanced back over at Twistedkit,pulling a face at her.He smirked slightly at her."IMPOSTER!"he yelled smirking widely at Twistedkit. "A hare!It's a hare,disguised as a kit,I'm not lying!Oh wait,its only Twistedkit." He laughed his smirk widening,he could be a real jerk sometimes.

Tired of the insults, Twistedkit leaped and bit his tail. Not enough to break it, but enough to make it hurt. A lot. She raced off and ran to the dirtplace and hid under a bush. The bush had lots of berries on them, but she was a little sure they weren't deathberries. Twistedkit decided to try some as she calmed down.



Obviously this would go wrong

Spottedpaw rolled her eyes at Twistedkit, pushing Sprucekit a little. "You are so full of yourself, tom." She said with a smirk, walking into the Apprentices' Den.

Munching on the berries, she looked around. She was lucky this time: they were only blackberries. Carrying a few under her chin, she showed them to the apprentices. "These berries are yummy! Do you want one?" She had completely calmed down in a few minutes and pretended that Sprucekit did not exist.

Rippedpaw padded after Spottedpaw into the apprentice's den. He picked a corner and settled into it, flicking his tail for the she-cat to come over.
"Can you believe it?" He thought back to the crowded nursery, "it is nice to finally be here".

Spottedpaw nodded, kneading her nest. "Yeah, it's a lot cooler and less crowded than the nursery, I can actually see the stars!" She commented before Twistedkit came, blackberry juice covering her muzzle. Spottedpaw chuckled, shaking her head. "No, thanks." She said, giggling a bit now.

The nearly pure black tom laughed lowly at the kit. It was strange how much older he felt now simply being in the apprentice's den and having kits around younger then him. In order to appease the kit, he lapped up a tiny berry.
"Very good," he commented while he swiped his tongue over the bits of berry juice on his muzzle. Yeah, he must have looked a bit ridiculous, but Twistedkit seemed so excited about the blackberries he just couldn't let her down.

Sprucekit let out a yowl as Twistedkit bit down on his tail.He turned around batting at her with his unsheathed paw narrowly missing her.After calming down he padded over to Spottedpaw.He scowled as she insulted him but was quick to come up with a feistey response."Yeah well,you would if you were as handsome as me,!"He mewed padding of to the medicine cat den to see if his tail was damaged.

Spottedpaw rolled her eyes at the tom, curling up in her nest and sleeping.
