Just a Little Mottled [Closed]

Littlekit nodded, he was very intelligent while collecting things like these, he'd guide her.

They were soon out in the forest and Littlekit had a daisy in his mouth along with poppy seeds "See anymore things you see or want to know about?" he asked, wanting to really test her.

"Well, I want to know if you know any good spots to find juniper berries," Mottledkit said, sounding much like a medicine cat evaluating her apprentice. Her truthful and calm hazel gaze scanned the ferns. "I've heard Dreamleaf's murmurings about it, and I wonder what it's for."

Littlekit thought "Well they are usually in dry places and I think that cats eat them in order to cure what they have" he mewed.

"Alright!" Mottledkit squeaked. She trotted ahead without another thought, eyes bright and happy. "Let's look in those places then, shall we?" She asked.

Littlekit nodded "Well, I think that the river can be very dry along some of its edges" he explained "What do you think?" he asked.

"Yes, perhaps," Mottledkit mewed matter-of-factly. The she-cat glanced around, before ducking under a low-hanging branch and rejoining the tom that looked so much like her great grandmother in pelt pattern. "Uh, will you lead the way?" She asked, blushing.

Littlekit purred and moved along, flicking his tail to signal Mottledkit to follow him.

Mottledkit bounced after him, eyes holding quite a bit of emotion, including love. It was barely noticeable, as she tried to keep it concealed, but it was there. She scuttled into a log, before poking her head out, followed by a mottled red-and-white body. "When will we be there?" She asked impatiently.

Littlekit looked back "Well, only a little bit more time" he mewed, turning back and looking at the not-so-far-away from the river.

"Ah, okay," Mottledkit breathed, relieved. She gave Littlekit a light, playful shove, and grinned at him. "I can't wait to start the collection!" She cheered.

OOC: I need to go for bed, see ya tomorrow!

Littlkit smiled "Yeah" he replied as he stopped while they had arrived.

Mottledkit raised a paw, and it on a catmint plant unknowingly. "Do you see any juniper berries yet?" She called.

Littlekit nodded "I saw a couple but I forget where" he mewed.

"Then let's look some more!" Mottledkit announced, and her eyes picked their way through to search for the little blue baubles. Her paws shifted with a scuff on the ground, and her tiny nose worked, to see if they had any distinguishable scents.

Littlekit smiled.
