((Open)) Lonley

Silentkit sighed and stared at the ground. why didn't anyone want to play with her? staring down at the ground she noticed a worm, a pink squirmy thing. she grinned and started digging around it. she then tried to pick it up with her teeth but it had already gotten away. Her paws were covered in mud and dirt now. she glanced around and sighed once more. why had her mom left her? she shook her head of the thought and rolled onto her back and stared up at the sky.

(sorry for not posting! Ive been going through some personal problems)

Willlowkit was sitting down comfortably on her moss bed with her paws tucked underneath her, watching over her siblings as they slept. They were tired from running around camp awhile ago (she hadn't joined them, but instead sat with her mother and simply enjoyed the comfortable sunlight of the clearing. After making sure that they were really sleeping, she stood up and noticing Silentkit (the kit who was always alone, for some reason) in the clearing, lying on her back and staring up at the sky.

While stretching her legs at every step, she made her way towards the lonely kit and sat down beside her. "You'll get your pelt dirty if you lie down like that, you know." Willowkit told the black kit gently, her tail curling around her paws.

Silentkit's ear twitched as she heard the other kit speak. she glanced at the other kit. "It doesn't really matter right now though. right?" she rolled back over and shook her fur free of dirt. she glanced down and spotted another worm just before it disappeared. she yawned and got into a more comfortable position.she fiddled with a leaf and awaited the other cat's answer.

Willowkit tilted her head to the side curiously, inwardly searching for an appropriate reply. She almost groaned when the silence seemed to be stretching out for too long. Right. Just like all the other conversations I've had with other kits. Start a topic, hear their response, forget how to reply, fail. Am I trying too hard?  "Umm...why?" Willowkit blurted. "I mean, uh, why doesn't it matter?"
