"Leave her alone!" Cali hissed, looking at Jaybird and baring her teeth at him.

Jaybird laughed. "I have to admit,you kittypets are pretty brave." he meowed.

Cali's eyes locked on the cat, she cautiously inched forward.

Jaybird lashed his tail. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." he meowed darkly.

Leopardheart smirked. "Stay away, kittypet."

Cali ignored them both and swiped her paw warningly.

Felicity jumped infront of Cali, her long silver tail lashing. She hissed fiercely at Leopardheart, preparing to spring.

Jaybird laughed. "See that. That kittypet thinks it has a chance against battle-trained warriors"

She turned to Jaybird; fury burning angrily at her eyes. "I'm not going back to my house-folk, not now!" She yowled, her fur bristling.

"I can deal with this, Felicity!" the small kitten-cat mewled. Cali walked out from behind Felicity and hissed, and unsheathed her claws, her tail lashing back and forth with anger and fear.

"Mmm-hmmm...." Hawkpaw murmerd. "And how do you think a tiny kittypet will fight compared to a fully trained Medicine Cat apprentice? To me, it looks like i have some kittypet fur for my bedding tonight..." Hawkpaw narrowed her eyes in pure hatred. Unsheathing her claws, digging them into the ground waiting for Cali to attack her. She could smell her fear scent, and it made Hawkpaw purr with amusement. "I know that your scared... I can smell it..." Hawkpaw mewed. "So why even bother trying, you know you will be mauled to pieces..."

"Because I have nothing else to lose," she mrrowed, and took a step forward. She was shorter than a fox-length away from the wild cats. Cali narrowed her eyes, "I don't know what a Medicine Cat Apprentice is.. but.." Cali's voice trailed off and she stared at the 'Med. Cat Apprentice'.

She looked at Cali, her fur bristling. "No, Cali! You'll get hurt. If we're going to fight this flea-bag," She mewed, whipping her tail over to the wild cat, "Then I'll help too."

Cali looked at Felicity, then stepped back. Felicity had a point. One kitten-cat can't deal with this many wild cats. Puffing out her chest, she tilted her ears foward, and gave a warning hiss.
