CHAPTER I

It was a cold winter night the full moon cast an eerie light over the white winter landscape. All of a sudden, the sound of crashing rose through the forest as trees fell like dominoes, scattering across the forest floor. Blinking lights polluted the natural light of the stars. Booming noises sounded once again as more trees toppled down.
In BlueClan camp, a mother nursing her kits looked around nervously. The noise had awoken her. She licked her kits on their heads and headed to the leader's den. "Bloostar!!" She whispered hastily.
Bloostar looked up sleepily. "Yes, what is it Iceflower?" She mumbled.
"There are strange unnatural sounds coming from the forest!"
Before Bloostar could speak, a night patrol ran through the entrance right up to their leader. "Bloostar!" The leader of the group, Icestorm meowed, wide eyed. "The monsters are coming into the forest, smashing up the trees!"
"So, how close?" She whispered scared for the safety of her clan.
"Bloostar, the twolegs, the twolegs are taking over the forest."



OOC: Now you guys post what's happening in your camps.

The cats in GreenClan all lay asleep, except for the patrol of Snowfox, Leafsong, Violetgaze, Mosspaw, and Rosepaw. When they returned to the camp, Snowfox collapsed on the ground. She was badly cut on her side. Leafsong called, "Moonsage! Moonsage, help her!" And her cries awoke the whole Clan to see what was going on.
Naturestar, Moonsage, and Mintpaw rushed to Snowfox's side. "What happened?" Moonsage asked.
"TWOLEGS!" Violetgaze snapped. "They attacked her with a long claw. But only it wasn't a claw, the twoleg held it in it's hairless paw, and slashed Snowfox!"

Lilypatch gasped. She made sure her kits stayed in the Nursery, so they wouldn't have to see this.

Moonsage sniffed her wound. "Mintpaw, cobwebs. Now."

the cats of Purpleclan lay asleep. all exept one; theyre medicine cat, Mistyriver. she had just woken up from a strange dream, and now was hearing strange sounds. her ears perked, and she got up to see what was happening. trees fell and twoleg monsters where among them, along with theyre twolegs, and bright lights shining from the monsters. Mistyriver yowled, and ran to where Purplestar, the clan leaders den, "purplestar! quick!" She yowled. "what is it?" Purplestar hissed.
My dream.... thought Mistyriver, "twolegs! the forest is being destroyed!"

Naturestar was immediately distressed. "We need to see if this is happening to the other Clans. Leafsong, Rockslide, go tell the other Clans I wish to hold a Gathering, although it is not the correct time."

The two cats rushed out of camp.

The wind ruffled the leaves in the Reclan camp,as well as the fur of the cats. It was a fairly cold night as Blueberry stepped outside. She smiled as she took in the bright and neon stars that were her ancestors. Every once in a while,she would shape pictures out of the stars. Suddenly,a bursting sound of something familiar rang in her ears. Her eyes widened as she leapt up to the Leader's Den. "Brackenstar!" she called,exploding into the swishing brambles. The chestnut leader lay there before stirring. "What is it Blueberry?" he murmured. "Monsters! They are close by!"
Brackenstar's eye's widened as he leapt out of his den. A dusk patrol exploded into the entrance. "They..they are destroying the forest!" A cat,named Mintmine,yowled. Redclan cats scrambled throughout the camp,terrified. Brackenstar yowled for silence. "What is happening!" he yowled to Mintmine's patrol. Swoopbird stepped forward. "Monster's with big claws came off the Thunderpath." he yowled. "T-They are coming for us!"
Brackenstar stared at the tom. For a second,he didn't know what to do. Monsters were loose,and were endangering their home.

Bloostar immediatly sent out a 3 small patrols to the other clans' territories. Bluejay lend one right to GreenClan's border, where the bumped right into the oncoming patrol.

Rockslide said urgently, "Don't attack! We have to speak to Bloostar!"

Leafsong added, "Yes. It's urgent."

Suddenly,three cats appeared from Redclan territory. Jaybird,Jaysong,Cinderleaf,and Citruspaw appeared. Jaybird,the Redclan deputy,padded over to the patrols and dipped his head. "Greetings." he meowed with a smile. "I suppose you heard the Twolegs?"

Rockslide said, "Yes, that's why we're here."

Leafsong said, "Naturestar wants to hold an unofficial Gathering."

Jaysong looked at him funny. "An unofficial Gathering?" she repeated. Jaybird nodded. "I will tell Brackenstar." he meowed.

Leafsong looked hurt. "If Twolegs are invading our territory, there is something we need to do about it. Together."
