The Kittypet Dream (For Aura, Jay, Leo, Goldie, Misty, Darkie, Sleepy, Swifty, MoonTart, and Pine)

She rolled her eyes. "Do you want the extra set of hunting paws or not?" She growled.

"Y'know there is more than being a warrior than just hunting... You have to become an apprentice, and learn fighting and hunting, and then you become a warrior, and as a warrior, you do many warrior duties. Like patrols, and training apprentices, and sometimes, fight with other clans, but only if they go into your territory. Plus i can't approve this, ask someone with more experience, like Mistyriver."

"Tell me aout these others 'Clans.'" She said.

"There is RiverClan, WindClan, ThunderClan, and ShadowClan." Hawkpaw started. "I am of RiverClan, which is beyond the river. ThunderClan is deep into the forest, that way." Hawkpaw flicked her tail at the forest. "WindClan is beyond the falls over there, with a big feild, wide and open. and ShadowClan... ShadowClan is beyond the thunderpath in a big thick mucky forest. The thunderpath is a big flat long stone, where monsters speed across. Twolegs get inside of their bellies and try to run us over. " Hawkpaw squinted at the thought of it. "So anyway, RiverClan can swim, while all of the other clans can't. WindClan can run the fastest, ThunderClan climbs trees the best, and ShadowClan.... well... I don't know what those cats do. But I do know this. An elder told me, ShadowClan is full of cats who live in the shadows, in which the shadow chill their hearts. I dont believe that. They say they will maul ANYONE! Even a helpless little kit!" Hawkpaw meowed. "But there are some of my friends in ShadowClan, and my own cousin! She was taken from RiverClan, stolen as a kit. I never saw her again..." Hawkpaw paused for a few heartbeats. Then looked up and started again. "My brother lives in ThunderClan, He comes to the river ocassinaly to meet me." Hawkpaw washed her paw for a bit, noticing a cut, but went on. "RiverClan hunt fish and watervoles, ThunderClan catch birds, mice, and regular voles, ShadowClan..." Hawkpaw gagged at the thought. "ShadowClan eat lizards, and frogs... yuck! And WindClan hunt rabbits. But we all respect the warrior code."

Felicity pricked her ears at the sound of deep forest. "You said something about ThunderClan?" She said. "My half brother told me he wen't there. . . he is still there now." She meowed.

"Really? What's his name? I might know him,"

Cali gaped at Felicity. "What are you doing?" she mewed, "what if it's all a trick, Felicity??"

Jaybird lay on one of the Fourtrees. His blue eyes shown as ice,and his fur was dark in the shade. He stared expressionlessly, staring at the kittypets. He had heard their story,and hated their naive thoughts of the clans. He decided to listen more before barging in. He never liked intruding in conversations always. His tail lashed,but still made no sound,as if the wind had carried it away before any ear had heard. He glanced at Hawkpaw,waiting for the small medicine cat apprentice to speak. She was one of his only friends outside of Shadowclan,besides Mistyriver.

Cali blinked. She took a step back and gazed into the wild cats' eyes.

Felicity shook her head at Hawkpaw. "Wouldn't you like to know? How about leaving me alone and stop being so nosy?" She asked, slightly annoyed.

Jaybird smiled at the young cat's remark and jumped down. He still seemed sort of dark,and didn't speak for a couple of seconds. "Kittypets." Jaybird sniffed the air. "Just as I thought."

"Then, if you want me to leave you alone so much... Why dont you leave..." Hawkpaw said in a furious snarl. Her sharp green eyes burned with hatred.

"Leave?" She yowled, unsheathing her claws. "And go were?" Her attention flickered over to Jaybird. ". . . . And just who are you?" She snarled.

Jaybird paced around Felicity. "Now Now,kittypet,names can be a dangerous thing." he meowed.

She lashed her tail. "What threat can I possibly pose to you?" She hissed through bared teeth.
