Tallkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Aurastorm padded toward the nursery, his tail swishing to and fro in excitement as he poked his head inside. "Tallkit? You there?"

Oh Aurastorm whats up! Is there something important happening, as the little kit looked at the warrior with amazment.

"Yes indeedy, there sure is! Your apprentice ceremony, silly!" he grinned and batted at Tallkit's ear teasingly before making his way back outside. "Come on, wouldn't wanna be late now, would you?"

MY APPRENTICE CEROMONY, REALY!!!! As the kit jumped up and down and skipped out of the den in joy!

"I wouldn't lie to you, would I?" he winked before jumping atop the Highrock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting," his voice rung loudly throughout the entire camp.

The kit padded up to the strong cat and waited patiantly while holding in her exitment for the words she had drempt of being said to her when she would become apprentice.

"We are gathered here today to recognize this kit as an apprentice," he informed before gazing down at Tallkit. "Step forward."

The kit slowly stepped forward holding in all her exitment and how much she wonted to burst out in tears of joy!

"From this day, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Tallpaw. I will mentor you and pass on all I can so that one day StarClan may guide you until you find in your paws the strength and courage of a warrior." Aurastorm gently touched noses with Tallpaw, pride overwhelming him.

The kit looked up at her new mentor and soked in the warmth of her new mentors nose touching hers and thought, my name is finally Tallpaw!!
