Pouring Rain [Open]

Jayflight blinked, he sat down in the middle of camp. The winds blew hard and the clouds rumbled, rain poured over his fur. What had his life become, he had betrayed his littler sister and apprentice, Lilypaw. Did her earn the respect he had? Did he even have respect from others? He had spent so much time with Gentlenose and his kits that he had completely forgot about training with her, he remembered so many times with her, she didn't know what is was like did she? He had questions whirling in his mind, who should he have chosen? Family? Kits? Mate? There was so much to say sorry for, he wish he could just turn back the time and redo all of it, but he couldn't, he looked at the bright side. He had a family, kits, a mate, and two lovable little sisters, well Lilypaw didn't seem to want to talk to someone like him, she probably wouldn't take his request to forgive him anyway. Marigoldpaw still had his back though, the two never really fought, he still knew though that Silverstone, Marigoldpaw, Gentlenose, Sedgepaw, and Blizzardkit had his back.

Marigoldpaw padded up behind her brother, pressing against him affectionately. "Follow your heart, brother," she purred quietly. "Be with the one you love, even if it's not with us. We can handle ourselves. Me and Lilypaw are apprentices now. We have each other. We'll see you at gatherings and such. You have kits that need you. I've experienced growing up without parents, don't do that to your kits. They love you, and so does your mate. You have a responsibility now. You can't just change your mind and abandon them," she gave the best advice she could muster, wanting her brother to be happy.

Jayflight nodded "Thanks for having my back over there with Lilypaw" he mewed suddenly feeling sad. He sighed and closed his eyes thinking of her cream colored fur and her green eyes, and all the fun times they had together "If only I was a better brother!" he yowled in anger and sadness, and breaking into tears.

Marigoldpaw cuffed her brother gently over the ear. "Stop that!" she scolded. "You're a perfect brother! I couldn't ask for a better one," she purred.

Jayflight stayed silent, he listened to Marigoldpaw and stopped, he murmured a quiet "Thanks"

Marigoldpaw nodded, content that her brother would make the right choice.

Jayflight was scared, what would happen though "But aren't you worried about her?" he asked.
