The Sedge and The Squirrel

Squirrelpaw flopped own on one of the stacks of hay, sending dust and stems of hay flying everywhere. She rolled out onto her stomach and started to groom the fur in between her claws just as she heard something, rather someone, trying to scuffle up the hay stack as well.

Sedgepaw looked at Squirrelpaw "H-Hi" he mewed awkwardly, this was his first time meeting a apprentice!

"Hello, Sedgepaw was it?" she greeted upon seeing the tom.

Sedgepaw nodded "the one and only!" he purred.

Squirrelpaw chuckled at the toms self-confidence, it reminded her of herself in a way. "Its really fun being on the top of the haystack. If you look down, its like your leader looking down at everyone from the highrock! Come on, I'll show you!" she mewed excitedly as she got up and padded forward slowly until she was on the edge of the stack. She looked down and each warrior looked like and ant, the kits were even smaller! "Cool right!" she mewed.

Sedgepaw looked in amazement "Yah" he agreed "You better not fall off though" he purred nudging her playfully.

Squirrelpaw meowed in laughter at the thought. "I almost did once!" she mewed as she swatted the tom's ear playfully with her paw.

Sedgepaw purposely fell, he hung on with his unsheathed claws "Scar! Brother, help me!" he yowled "You got me!" he mewed trying to get back up.

IC: Squirrelpaw couldn't help but to burst out into laughter when the silly tom fell. She peeked over the edge with a huge grin on her face as she looked down upon Sedgepaw. "Hahaha!! Im sorry!! But you just look so funny right now!!!" she yowled as she flopped down again in a fit of laughter.

Sedgepaw struggled "Oh you!" he mewed "I'll get you!" he got his legs into a spot where he could pull himself up. He jumped up and pinned down Squirrelpaw with a mighty leap "Got you!"

"Not for long!!" she mewed slyly as she jumped upwards, bringing Sedgepaw with her. When she was midair she did a flip and landed on top of Sedgepaw. "Told ya!!" she mewed in Sedgepaw's face.

"Alright, she-cats aren't bad fighters" he purred "But how about this?" he bucked his hind legs soon to kick her off, he headed towards her and wrapped his tail around her, he then pulled her to face a different wall then ran in front of her to face her.

"Pretty goood...." she mewed. "Let me try something..." she mewed as she padded a few steps backwards. "Watch this!!" she said excitedly. She crouched and jumped upwards in a spin, claws unsheathed as she spun. She eventually landed almost losing her balance, but eventually finding her footing. "How was that?" she asked curiously.

OOC: I like how this is supposed to be a romantic topic, but they're really just playing around.

Sedgepaw smiled and jumped up and down "That was amazing!" he mewed "I want to try!" he then repeated what she did but ended up fall to the ground, he felt hotness fill his ears. Squirrelpaw was so good at stuff, he was no match for her though. She was kind of pretty, Sedgepaw might actually had a crush on her.

IC: Squirrelpaw laughed and walked over to Sedge as he fell and settled next to him, starting to groom the dirt and dust behind his ears. "Don't worry! It took me ages to figure it out!" she mewed in between licks. "Hey Sedgepaw?" she mewed.
